Great stay

Had a wonderful stay at Noosa Lakes Resort. Room was very clean and comfortable. There is no housekeeping every day, but they do clean the room for you on the third day, which didn’t bother us. Staff was friendly and check in was easy, despite the reception being closed (they left us instructions for the lock box). Would not hesitate to stay again.

It’s an ok location, we had to drive almost everywhere we went though so not very walkable. The main issue was cleanliness. Our towels were stained with what appeared to be mold and blood. We took them to the front desk and got new ones, they said they’d let housekeeping know. There was also visible mold in the shower, which we told them about and they just said “the units are owned by different people so if you come back just book a different room”. The room was pretty dingy overall. It’s clear the cleaners do the bare minimum and it never sees a deep clean. Finally, the wifi is atrocious. It’s unsecured (which leaves you vulnerable to hackers pretty easily), and it would cut out constantly. It wasn’t really possible to watch movies on it or anything, we had to tether off our phones most of the time. I’d recommend staying somewhere else on the Sunshine Coast if you can.

Was a nice family resort with great pools with perfect temperature. Very close to the marina with dining options and ferry to Noosaville or Hastings Street. We were on the lakeside which provided beautiful sunsets and bird life. Our deluxe 2 bedroom unit was nice, roomy enough for the four of us (3 tall boys) but the plates and cutlery were dirty, some of furniture needs replacing like the outdoor dining table / chairs and the couch cushions were stained so it could do with a simple refresh and it would be great. Our room was advertised as having an ensuite bathroom but this was the only bathroom so the kids had to come into the master. Would have been good to have that made clear when booking. No air con in the master. Units are individually owned so this may differ throughout the resort. At first it felt like a long way from Noosa and the action but was grateful for it in the end. All in all it was a great holiday.

Musty smell in the room. Room generally was tired and basic. No towel change during our 2 night stay and no replenishment of soap, coffee, etc. There were cobwebs on the rails of the wardrobe. 3 lagoon pools, but also daily charge for pool towels. Liked the shared free laundry with the other lakeside studio and the wildlife around the resort. Loved Noosa bit resort and room pricey for what it was
