Nice hotel with lots of activities.

The first 4 days were awesome until someone booked above us. Our last three mornings were not too pleasant as we woken up at 6 am or earlier to people walking around above us very loudly. And at 6am on Jan 1, it was very hard to be happy. Otherwise awesome facility and would definitely go back but just making sure we stay in a third floor room.

Noisy Neighbours

This was our 3rd stay at this location and all 3 times we requested and stayed on the 2nd floor. This year was the first time we have ever experienced the noise from the people on the floor above. It sounded like someone in work boots was stomping on the floor. We talked to the front desk and the reply was "Ya, we have a problem with some of our floors. We'll mention it to them but they leave on Monday". This was Thursday. The next people in weren't as bad but it was still noisy. We talked to the front desk again and were told it would be passed onto "the powers that be". IF we go back, we will only stay on the 3rd [top] floor and suggest anyone else to do the same.

Great spot to relax

3 pools on site with 5 more pools next door at the JW Marriott. Perfect jumping off point for shopping, sightseeing, etc... Second time we've stayed here and we'll definitely be back.

Greatly enjoyed our stay at Marriott Canyon Villas

Wonderful roomy condo with full kitchens, even washer and dryer. Large bedroom and huge tub, beautiful balcony overlooking garden area with waterfall. Lots of pools for the kids. Great place for families. Lots of space to spread out in the condo. Staff was great. Kitchens nicely appointed with everything you might need. My only wish was that they had an on site restaurant, other than the pool -bar /café. You can take a shuttle to the Marriott hotel neighbor with many restaurants but it would have been nice to have something on site. Wonderful shuttle to the Desert Ridge outdoor mall, with very friendly and helpful gentleman driving the shuttle. He deserves special recommendation as he couldn't have been more helpful. Large complex with multiple buildings spread out but great views out our window of garden areas, beautifully kept. Lots of local wildlife running around grounds, bunnies, lizards, quail and other birds. Was very quiet when we were there for spring break.

Nice location and grounds

The room we were given was ok. You can see the age of the property. The grounds are well kept and the pool we visited was clean. The front desk employees were pleasant. There are drain issues in the room we stayed in. Standing in two inches of water while showering is pretty gross. The sink drain was slow, as well.
