Great vacation home with great amenities. We had a wonderful time while we were there, enjoying the great sights, wildlife, activities, and food in the area. Great communication with the owners and property manager for any questions we had.

We arrived to breathtaking views of Lake Arenal and the volcano. Over the next couple of days we savored delicious varied breakfasts and a German cuisine inspired dinner that was prepared and customized to accommodate our dietary restrictions. All of us enjoyed visiting the hot tub daily. The library was well utilized during our stay. So many genres of books for our varied interests! We strolled through the gardens, admiring the many tropical plants and flowers and even saw toucans both mornings. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. This is an amazing, large yet cozy property with hosts that make us feel that this is our home away from home! We can’t wait to return!

Our stay at Chris's house was very relaxing and the room was spotless and well decorated. There was cool documentation on fauna and flora and ample space to park and walk on the property. Note that the pool is a few minutes away at the clubhouse. Tronadora is about 10 minutes away by car if you need groceries or wish to eat at the local Soda. The nature soundtrack (birds, monkeys) was impressive.

This lovely casita was exactly what we anticipated. It is well designed for guest privacy and captures lovely breezes to cool the building for sleeping. After a few weeks of very warm weather, this location was very refreshing. We cooked most of our evening meals in the kitchenette, which was well equipped and easy to work in. The owners took great care in keeping their friendly dogs away but we love dogs so had no issues with the occasional canine visitor. We would definitely recommend this property.

Could not have asked for a better place/host for our very time in Costa Rica! Glen was hands on making sure our stay was everything and more! We would highly recommended Villa Encantada!

Our group of 2 families enjoyed the stay here. We had everything we needed. The location is beautiful, but very windy. The scenery was the highlight for adults. Kids loved the mini golf and the upstairs loft (beware of the steep steps). It is about an hour drive to the volcano. Lots to see and do within an hour drive in all directions. There is nice food close by

Property is gorgeous. It is a quiet haven that makes a great home base for exploring the area. Watching the hummingbirds and other tropical birds is a great way to spend your time. The place has everything you need to relax and enjoy Costa Rica.

Good little lake cabin, convenient for exploring the Lake Arenal area. Good communication with the property owner for check in and dealing with minor issues. Took time to enjoy the community pool, and easy walk to local restaurants.
