Juba Sound cottages

Amazing property! The pool area and large outside deck are just what you need to enjoy the beautiful Turks weather. Karen the host was the best, communicated before taking the property and when we arrived, made sure we were settled and was quick to answer any questions. The bbq and bar area were great for hanging out beside the pool. The property is tucked away and very private. The Villa is very secure with key pad entry to front gate and entrance to house. We did not use the main level suite as the upstairs was plenty big with two large bedrooms with ensuites.

Easy communication with host; property was in a good location for us (we had a car) and the adjoining properties (and the neighbourhood generally) are quiet. Everything that others have said about the dog is true - very good natured and even my son, who has severe autism and is quite scared of dogs, was fine with this one. The bedrooms are very comfortable, and the living area is spacious. The bathroom and kitchen are looking a little tired, but that’s not something that concerns us because everything is functional. We cook for ourselves each night and the kitchen amenities and appliances work well. Beach towels, cooler, etc. are supplied. Overall, great value for money in TCI over the holiday period.

La Salamandre was perfect for our week getaway. The beach was a few minutes walk down the path and was beautiful and for the most we were the only ones on it! The cottage was as pictured. Couple of notes: the AC works great! There are no condiments there, so make sure to bring with you.

This is a great spot for a couple to use as a home base to explore all the island has to offer. Note, it's a somewhat isolated location away from the hustle and bustle of the resorts and hotels so a car is a must have. Supermarket and Grace Bay are in close proximity approx 10 mins drive. The cottage is set up for a couple and is clean and fully equipped including beach chairs, umbrella, loads of beach towels and coolers. Pool was great for a dip to cool off! No issues with the WIFI connection. Patty was great getting in contact with us a few days prior to our arrival answering any questions we had. Her property manager will meet you at the airport to get you to the property. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a good spot away from the resorts and crowds! I recommend a 4WD vehicle if you're looking to explore some of the more remote beaches on Provo... our compact couldn't handle getting out to Malcolm's Road due to the road being washed out in a couple of spots. We will be back! Cheers.

its was like we had our own bay..saw small sting ray amd small fish. The wall along Long bay every morning was great. Close to groceries and restaurants. Would come again in a secondl

We stayed in a one room guest house, it was perfect for us, as we did not spend much of our time indoors. The property is on a canal, that is salt water and very swinnable, I came across two large turtles. We used the snorkeling gear to snorkel the beaches of Providenciales. I would stay there again.

We had a great stay at this affordable VRBO in Leeward Settlement - a quieter residential area that is still very close to all the action. The interior was very comfortable, great bed, and everything you need for a nice stay. Very quiet and private. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with a few parts of our stay. The pool was out of order and we were not warned beforehand. The beach umbrella provided was too broken to use. Although the posting said a 4 minute walk to the beach, it’s not really walkable (especially if carrying beach stuff) - more like a 5 minute drive. Overall a nice, comfortable place to stay and very affordable.
