Find beach rentals near Loch na Carraigean

The Aviemore House was the perfect stay for our family get away. The house had a well outfitted kitchen, a cozy lounge and a bonus hot tub great after full adventure days. The host was responsive and welcoming.

Overall, the little house was fine. It was clean, had the kitchen basics, the beds were made and there was a binder with some helpful info. However, it wasn’t until well after booking that we received a check-in email that stated in bold that there were no towels. Now, travelling from Canada with carry-on luggage and 4 people, this was rather inconvenient news but we just packed our little camping towels. I made the assumption that this meant bath towels. There were really no towels! Nothing for hands in the washroom, nothing for drying in the kitchen. Compared to all the other Homeaway listings we stayed in over our 3-week holiday, this one was just very basic but the same price. No greeting the day we arrived, no amenities, no wifi and no towels. Not angry we stayed. The place just left us feeling cold. Oh yes, and we also needed to purchase tp, too! Too funny. 😂
