Van Gogh House was the perfect location for my sister's and my visit to Medemblik. The house had everything we needed, very clean and Marius was a great host.

Our stay at this historic chapel in Hoorn was truly special. The property is beautifully furnished, combining the charm of its historic roots with modern comforts. The location is perfect, a short walking distance to the center of Hoorn, for easy access to local attractions, shops, restaurants, and the harbour. The kitchen is well-outfitted and the outdoor courtyard is a great space to relax and enjoy the beautiful garden.The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's rest after days spent exploring. The hosts were very accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We highly recommend this unique and comfortable chapel to anyone looking for a memorable experience in Hoorn.

So much better than Amsterdam. A beautiful fishing village just a bus ride away from Amsterdam. We loved it. The location on the canal was incredible. The house inside was top notch. We had everything we needed and communication with Rein and Ben was excellent. If we ever return to the Netherlands we will definitely stay here again.

Great location if you don't want to stay in the busy areas. Easy walk to the center (30 min) or to Jordaan (10 min). Anne Frank House (20 min). Perfect little spot to get a great sleep in a big bed with coffee in the morning. Right above a grocery store and bakery. Ice cream down the street!

Amazing and friendly

The apartment was lovely, particularly the floor with the kitchen, dining and living space. The views from these rooms are inspiring. The kitchen is well-equipped and the appliances a pleasure to use. The location of this apartment provided my friend and I an opportunity to experience a vibrant neighbourhood and its people. It was a short stay for us (four nights) and we could have easily enjoyed walking strictly around the immediate area, discovering the architecture, culture and life. We did venture to central Amsterdam via the easily accessible metro. It was wonderful. My friend did a memorable day trip north to Den Helder, using the train. It was my first time staying in an apartment that had such steeps stairs - they are steep and hauling up heavy luggage is a challenge. The apartment warrants the effort but for safety reasons I don't think can be overstated.

We loved our stay here. The guesthouse was very clean and shows exactly as the pictures online. Fred and Kelli are great hosts—lots of communication but also don’t bother you. 8 min from the train, number of restaurants within 5-10 walk (try Kathmandu) as well as two grocery stores. We enjoyed our week, travelling into Amsterdam (20 min by train) as well as other nearby towns. Very convenient. We will definitely stay here again on our future trips to Amsterdam

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house had all the amenities we needed and quickly became “home”. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Lots of space for our family.
