Find lake rentals near Beach Road Nature Reserve

The location of the apartment is superb. There is a castle just down the block!! Everything you need is within walking distance or close to public transport. Parking is easy as well. Maxine was such a great host, receiving us. She gave us a lot of great information about the area, where to eat and what to do. We would defintely stay here again as home base for our Northern Ireland excursions.

Absolutely beautiful property! From the amazing Edwardian home (tall tall ceilings, lovely windows looking out over the water, wainscoting, gracious doors, renovated kitchen and bathrooms) to the stunning location: all A plus! Did I mention the fresh baked loaf of bread, butter, jam, milk and eggs all waiting for us? So thoughtful! Only issue was we couldn’t figure out the combo/lock system as our phones hadn’t switched to the UK eSIM so we missed that info email. But! We pressed the doorbell (probably way too many times lol) and the owner spoke to us via the bell, walked down to show us in and around the house! Loved our stay, would def book again!

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is well situated with a great view of the lough. Maxine was a very helpful host and followed up after we had settled in.

We enjoyed our wonderful visit. It was clean, bright and lovely. It was also in a safe neighbourhood. It was an easy commute to the train. Communication with Ivan was fantastic. We will be back!

Maxine is a wonderful host. She is so helpful and friendly. The place is very close to transit (bus/train) and walking distance to grocery stores, coffee shops, pubs and restaurants. Being able to wake up to the view of the water was probably my favourite thing. It was a great place relax and recharge. The bedroom had blackout curtains which made a big difference. The people are so friendly and it felt very safe, especially travelling on my own. On Thursdays there is a small farmers market in the parking lot close by. My favourite was a local company (Krazi Baker) who bakes fresh bread but they run out very quick so you need to go early. Overall it was exactly the vacation I needed!
