Find mountain rentals near Walshs Little Lake

Close enough to town for ease but far enough out that the only manmade noise you hear is the distant highway and the occasional boater going by (we had one in 4 days).A nice wrap around deck to hangout on and enjoy the views. The constant breeze was great for staying cool on the warmer days. We rented a Canoe and took a paddle up the river to explore.

Wonderful experience. My husband and I found property in the area while have a romantic and peaceful home on the beach experience. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and family when they come to visit.

My wife and I work hard and needed a weekend away to relax. It was just what we needed. The place was great. Very clean and cozy. Thank you for everything. We sure will be back

This was one of the very best cottages we have ever visited!! The views from both the cottage and the beach were gorgeous. The cottage was extremely well stocked with everything we could possibly need to make for a relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable stay. This included everything you could possibly need to cook for a family in the kitchen, cozy blankets for the couch, binoculars, even a couple of guitars!! We especially loved the vintage record player and collection of albums to peruse. The book and dvd shelf was well stocked for all ages, even had our childhood favourite “Barnyard Dance”. There was one minor issue with a heat pump, and the hosts were immediately responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this stay, and we hope to return one day soon.

Beautiful area, and such a very clean place! Gorgeous, private swimming, and a bald eagle visited one afternoon.

I stayed at the Yellownose with my husband and two teenagers and it was everything we were hoping for! Very much off the beaten track but a good base for exploring Cape Breton Island. We loved being at the end of a private lane on our own little point of land, swimming off our own pebble beach, and admiring the gorgeous view from the beautiful deck. The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Our only small constructive suggestion would be improved airflow in the loft, which was very hot; but the main floor gets a lovely breeze. We would definitely stay here again.
