We had the most wonderful stay. Baby Kai ticked every box and then some! The private pool was an absolute dream, and we loved that two of the island’s most popular attractions, Stingray City and Bioluminescent Bay, were just steps away.The neighbourhood is gorgeous and peaceful, and every person we met was warm and friendly. It reminded us so much of our previous go-to, Sanibel Island - the same sense of safety, serenity, and island charm.The space itself was perfect for the two of us: roomy, beautifully stocked, and full of thoughtful touches. The shower pressure was excellent, the bed was incredibly comfortable (with the softest sheets!), and there wasn’t a single amenity we found ourselves wishing for.We definitely made good use of our car to explore, but we could have happily stayed put, enjoying the quiet - did I mention the quiet? - which was exactly what we were craving.Lee and Tamara were fantastic hosts, with excellent communication and tons of helpful suggestions. We felt so well cared for from the moment we booked.We’ve already rebooked for next year and are counting down the days!

Very clean property, as pictured in the listing. Confortable for a family of 6 (2 kids 11 and 17).The sea upfront is good for snorkeling, and the kids also spent a lot of time kayaking. The seabed is mostly made of seagrass but there is a few sandy area as well. The area is quiet and about 45 minutes from Georgetown.we had an issue with the dishwasher (leak), we noticed the owner and the dishwasher was replaced the following day. Great service and great communication from the owners. We strongly recommend this villa and we would return in a heartbeat.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mai Kai! The unit is spotless, kitchen is well stocked, even has coolers to take to the beach with you. Couch and beds are comfy, washrooms are renovated, master has a large walk in closet which has some sand toys, pool noodles and loungers, beach chairs. Bedrooms both have a black out roller shade which is a nice touch. Pool is only a few steps from your door. The grounds are well maintained and they comb the beach almost daily. You won’t be disappointed booking this unit! Elizabeth was a great host! Fast to respond and easy to communicate with. We’ve stayed on the island before and in various locations. Cayman Kai is very quiet and relaxing, with picturesque views of the bay. Not as many restaurants this side of the island. But definitely rent a car, the island is super easy to navigate. Lots of options on the east end or Borden Town way and both are only a 25 minute drive. Be sure to spend time at Starfish Point, it’s just down the road and a perfect spot to spend an afternoon. Amazing property and location. Large pool you can do laps in, kayaks and other equipment, and snorkeling with lots of fish and interesting rock formations right off the beach. A gazebo at the end of the dock that it great for relaxing, enjoying the sea breeze, and kicking back and reading a book. Away from the traffic and hustle and bustle but close to activities at Rum Point. The property needs a bit of TLC though, signs there was a roof leak in the past that hasn't been fully restored, dirty windows marring the beautiful view, rusted outdoor pizza oven and BBQs, and signs of age all around. Overall excellent because anyone would enjoy the stay, but the property has the potential to be perfect.

We had a great time. The condo had everything we needed. You have thought of everything. Thanks it was great celebrating our 44wedding anniversary. We appreciated all the communication ie places to see, eat , groceries etc. both before we arrived and checking in with us during our stay.

We had a great stay. Condo was clean and exactly as listed. Perfect location and right on the water. Good snorkelling. Condo could use a sharp knife as the knives were useless for food prep.

We stayed at this house with 8 people total, 6 adults and 2 children. The Lisa and Marva were absolutely fantastic before and during the stay. They made sure we had everything we needed for the kids before we arrived and were very helpful with surrounding activities and restaurants. Cayman Kai is the perfect spot for a family vacation. We spent some dinners at Kaibo and Rum Point which were both fantastic. We took the ferry over to the city one night from Kaibo (5 min walk from the house) which was also very fun. The accommodation exceeded expectations by a landslide. There’s really no need to leave the property at all. We swam, fished and sat on the dock everyday. The marine life on the property was also amazing. So many starfish, fish, jellyfish (which didn’t sting) and even a small nurse shark (harmless) was spotted right from the dock! The beach was amazing to lounge on with the hammocks and lounge chairs. The kids played in the sand and swam in the beautiful pool everyday. The entire outdoor space seriously looked like a green screen it was so perfect. The interior of the house was just as spectacular. It was so spacious and the rooms were incredible. Each bedroom has an ensuite which we loved and rainfall showers that we all decided we want built at our houses at home haha. The house was spotless when we arrived and Marva came to clean halfway through the week which was awesome. I can’t say enough about this house. We didn’t want to leave and we will be returning!
