We had a wonderful week! Allison and Paul are really nice and very responsive. The cottage is amazing with a beautiful kitchen that is fully equipped! Check in and check out were very smooth. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

I had a reunion with my cousins and we stayed at the cottage for the long weekend. It was a wonderful place to stay, was even better than the photos, and kept very clean. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a great lakefront getaway!

Spent 5 nights at this very well appointed cottage. Check in and communication with the host was excellent. Very detailed info pkg about the lake and area provided before arrival which helped with excursion planning. Would definitely stay with Stephanie again.

We loved our 3 days and 4 nights at The Dance Hall. The wood burning stove was enjoyed and appreciated as the weather was quite cool and wet. We loved listening and watching the loons, geese and herons from the dock. We did some paddling in the kayaks provided around islands not too far from shore. The cottage is filled with interesting antiques, cookbooks, a record player and records. We would love to come again.

We had a blast! The lake is great for swimming g and boating, and there is a ton of fun stuff for indoor relaxation — fooseball, pool, axe throwing, board games. The split into a main house and bunkhouse is very convenient. The property is also beautiful.

This is our second summer stay at Fernbrae, but we have been sharing annual holidays for over four decades. Fernbrae is not only central for our travels, but it offers the perfect mix of private accommodations and resort amenities along the historic Rideau Canal. We will be back!

The Sunset on the Brow Cottage and stay was fantastic! We both have stressful jobs and needed some peace and quiet to just relax! This is the perfect location! My husband loved the fishing and canoeing, my 14 yr old loved the paddle board and my rest and relaxation was achieved just by sitting on the dock reading. Cottage was extremely clean and updated ! The hosts were very accommodating and friendly! Highly recommend this location and hosts ! You won’t be disappointed!
