We loved our stay, this home is steps from the beach and a short walk to the restaurant area of Jackson St. The food here is delicious, especially Ruchi Indian food. Also special mention for the Vietnamese Restaurant and Cafe (literally the name). The house itself was clean, comfortable, and a perfect spot for our family of four adults. Like a home away from home. Highly recommended.

We spent great 5 nights at this lovely home in the oldest area of Wellington. The house is spacious, beds are really comfortable, quiet for sleeping. The walk downtown is abut 35 minutes, and leads to the Commonwealth Walk Way along the harbour. The Thorndon village is a quick walk and offers several options for meals.Everything we could have wanted was there for us. The home is lovingly decorated with unique art work, both on walls and surfaces. Yes it is an old home but it has lovely bones. Thanks for a great 'home away from home' for our time in Windy Wellington.

Very local to the Airport, about 6 minute drive. Buses to the CBD and back literally stop outside. Very handy for the Weta workshop.Zelda was very communicative, and is slowly renovating the property, however don’t let that put you off.Our biggest complaint was the beds were a bit soft for our taste.

The bus is literally right outside your door and it goes to or connects easily to almost anywhere. We had no problem getting a parking spot on the street nearby but never used our car as we could walk or bus everywhere). You can walk to very good restaurants (the Larder, for breakfast or lunch, is excellent; the restaurant at the Roxy Cinema is also great, as is the theatre itself) and you have a nice coffee shop immediately opposite (look up opening hours). Though quirky with an odd set up, it has all you need including reasonable kitchen and clothes washer and dryer for a very reasonable price. Zelda was super quick to respond to questions
