Find pet-friendly rentals near Palo Seco Beach

We stayed at this beautiful villa, oceanfront for 3 weeks. Very satisfied with the location and property. We were extremely well taken care of by Luci and Luis, or property managers. They were very helpfull and kind! We would highly recommend this vacation home!

Casa de Sol was the perfect house for our multi-generation family trip ( 7 adults, 2 children 3,5) The house is set up so everyone has privacy yet wonderful group spaces, with breathtaking balcony views. The pool area was our favorite hangout. Escape Villas team was amazing. Flaviola came daily and kept the house clean and sparkling as well as our used towels and laundry washed. Carlos our host was key to making this busy vacation week effortless thanks to answering multitudes of texts, arranging transportation, excursions, and dealing with one minor water issue at the house. He always responded immediately to questions and always with a smile. Our chef, Juan and his assistant David made dinner 2 nights for us including a special birthday dinner for our granddaughter and their meals were exquisite and they couldn't be nicer. Gary and I had multiple phone conversations and emails prior to the trip which were extremely helpful. The excursion companies that were recommended were all well run and always on time. Couldn't have been any better.

We had such a fabulous time. If you want to have the jungle at your doorstep, this is the place. Toucans, howler monkeys, capuchins (the mafia, they are crazy!!), Scarlett macaws, sloths, lizards. We saw them all from the poolside. Beds were comfortable, big rooms, nice shady poolside. David was amazing. Super attentive. We had 2 catered meals that were fabulous. A few noteworthy things. The beach is walkable, but the walk back is quite uphill. Arrange a car or take the bus back. We tried to walk and it was rough! The burgers at the bistro next door are amazing! A must try! Lots of stairs so can be tricky if someone has mobility issues. You see just as much wildlife at the villa as you do at Manuel Antonio park, but the beach is gorgeous. Keep an eye on those capuchins. Same time every day they would try to get into the kitchen. They also pulled down the outdoor tv while we were on a tour. They’re bananas! Thanks so much for your patience with our family! Costa Rica was a very special vacation for our family. We wrapped it up at randy and Claudia’s home in the hills a short drive from the beaches. Beautiful nature, stunning views of the ocean, tucked away in a secluded area. It would have been good enough like this, but the fact that we got to know randy and Claudia, and their crew (Diego, Andrea, chino, and Esteban gave this trip a uniquely memorable end. Put yourself in their hands, take their advice and recommendations, and you won’t regret it. We look forward to seeing Costa Rica, it’s stunning coast, and most of all, randy and family again.
