Sandy Bay condos

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Roatan. Tanya and Boris were the perfect hosts and the property was ideal. It was well stocked and located very close to the beach. We loved the sea-side decor theme. We can't wait to return to Paradise!

Stayed here 2 weeks. Communication was excellent. Mark and Deena advised us they would be providing a taxi which was waiting for us at the airport and to bring a few grocery bags. Taxi stopped at the main supermarket (10km away) and waited while we shopped then took us to the property where Mark greeted us. Cost of the taxi was provided but we tipped.Property was really comfortable, especially the bed. Temperature control was awesome. Cookware was a little basic but acceptable and we ate out a lot. There is a good blender. Lots of restaurants within a 10 minute walk and a great one 2 minutes away. Prices are reasonable, but not cheap. A convenience store that has most items you need including some fruits and veggies (and alcohol) was probably a 6 minute walk. Pharmacy close by. Seriously, you don’t need to drive anywhere. Kayaks provided were good and included a full life jacket. The bay at the property is murky so don’t expect to snorkel but good snorkelling is a short walk. There’s about a gazillion dive shops, too. The hammock on the property was awesome.There is no laundromat but there is a clothesline. Mark did mention Victors Laundry Service and there is a Facebook page with phone #, otherwise it’s sink wash. Because we were there 2 weeks, there was a cleaning done after week 1. They do a really good job. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We love coming to Roatan and we love staying at our favorite accomodation: Encanto del Mar. Boris and Tatyana are wonderful hosts. They're accomodating and readily available if assistance is needed. Additionally, pride of ownership of their property is very apparent. Things are very well cared for. We appreciate their hospitality very, very much. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and part of the Sanctuary family. Miriam , Johnny, Maria and all the staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The property was immaculate and well maintained. The dock was the loveliest ocean "living room" you could imagine, with views of the dolphins and many sea creatures like starfish, lionfish, moray eels, trumpetfish and sergeant majors, just to name a few of the spectacular visitors around the dock. The local medical clinic was well equipped and helpful at a time of need. We highly recommend this complex for convenient access to grocery stores (Ramirez), pharmacies and good restaurants,

The host is fantastic. Very accommodating and responsive to texts. We are a family of five and she brought in a air mattress for the fifth as we were having difficulties finding accommodations for five in the West End. There was still lots of room in the spacious apartment.The pictures and write up of the apartment accurately describe the space, it is a new building, and in excellent condition. It's about a 5 minute walk through Sunset Villas to the West End strip.I would stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay in Roatán in this apartment. It was a short walk from West Bay beach and many good restaurants. The air conditioning worked great, the beds were very comfortable.

We stayed 2 weeks. We will return!! Only 5 units and owners on site. Clean and comfortable. Three minute walk to the beach, close to restaurants, great fruit market right next door. Our unit was overlooking the pool and a lovely jungle of bougainvillea, hibiscus, palms, butterflies, bird life, with a large resident green iguana and agoutis. So beautiful and peaceful. Spent lots of time enjoying the surroundings on the spacious deck with comfy furniture, dining table, clothes line and our very own barbecue! Inside was also spacious and comfy for 2 people (Turquesa unit) with a separate bedroom and kitchen area. The kitchen had everything we wanted including new fry pans, a great selection of new utensils, dishes, coffee filters, etc. - best selection we have ever seen, and we used it all as we cooked many meals there because we enjoyed just being there so much!!! Owners so nice, offer lots of privacy and respond right away if we had a question. We typically like to stay right on the beach but this was so close to the beach and to everything; it was perfect. We loved that it's quiet and private but easily accessible to everything. Magnificent beach with the calmest, clearest waters we have ever experienced, so excellent snorkeling and diving right off the beach and beyond! Thank you T&B. See you next time!
