Staying in Cortona’s Rooftop Nest felt like stepping into a dream. The comfort of our accommodations was beyond incredible, and the stunning views from the rooftop were absolutely breathtaking. Our host, Margherita, was exceptional in every way. We had initially planned to take a bus from the train station into Cortona, but with two young children and all our luggage, this would have been quite challenging. Margherita, with her impeccable attention to detail, recommended and arranged a taxi for us, making our arrival and departure seamless and stress-free. The care and thoughtfulness she put into every aspect of the Rooftop Nest made our experience in Cortona not just comfortable, but truly magical. The charm of this stunning town, combined with Margherita’s warm hospitality, created memories we will treasure forever. Thank you, Margherita, for making our first visit to Cortona unforgettable. The apartment is perfect for a stay in Cortona. I was with my 2 teenage kids. Sleeps 4 comfortably.The photos are very accurate. The location of the apartment in Cortona is perfect. You look out into the Piazza Signorelli which is the main Piazza in Cortona. Everything needed for your stay is a walk away. Cortona is filled with Artisans, Wine Tasting, great restaurants, shopping, art galleries and breath taking views. Very lively- you can see people enjoying their evenings dancing to the live music in the piazza, eating, drinking and enjoying life. Cortona is also a great home base should you want to travel different parts of Italy. Train station is at the base of the mountain in Camucia. (5 min drive) or if you have rental car easy to get anywhere. Pierre Luigi and his wife Barbara were lovely hosts, very helpful and communicative. I want to come back when the weather is a bit cooler. Very hot in the summer everywhere in Italy. Great apartment also for a romantic getaway. Love, love, loved it!!!!

Anna Maria & her daughter Lorella met us on arrival. They both were warm & welcoming. They ensured we were very comfortable with the property & surrounding amenities before they left. The property was better than described on VRBO’s site. The charm of the stone farm house can’t be appreciated in pictures. Living the experience is the only way to truly get a feeling of Tuscan living. Although the property was 9 kms from Cortona it was an easy country drive to town. We appreciated leaving the busyness of the surrounding tourist attractions and going back to the quiet farmhouse at the end of the day! Fratticciola is a small community but the local people were accepting & friendly! The hosts were exceptional. Anna Maria’s wine, vin Santa & cantucci was a nice welcoming gift. During our visit she ensured we had everything we needed & dropped off goodies from time to time. Lorella was only a text message away. She was very helpful with information on the surrounding area. This review cannot do justice in describing how exceptional Anna Maria & her family were as hosts. We will return!

Absolutely amazing, villa is impeccable, location is perfect, the view is stunning and the people who take care of this place are true friends! Whenever we come back in Cortona, we’ll definitely come say hi! We would’ve stayed another month for sure. You can trust this place, you won’t regret it…
