Lanikai condos

The location is wonderful! A few blocks to the beach and about a 15 min walk to Whole Foods and shops.Cozy and homey well equipped little suite. The hosts thoughtfully provided snacks upon arrival!

This is a great place within walking distance to Kailua beach. The online pictures are accurate. It has everything you need. I would definitely consider coming back.

We really enjoyed the location of this property in the Kailua area, and the apartment situated within a quiet neighbourhood. It was an oasis to come back to each day after our hike, garden visit or beach activity. We were within 5-30 minutes from everything that we wanted to do on this side of the island. The beautiful grounds, pool and canal were just a step outside of our studio and we had complete privacy as we ate our meals and relaxed.

We had a lovely month in Lanikai, staying at Noni’s artistically furnished garden suite. We could watch the sun rise from our bed , walk to either Lanikai or Kailua Beach (hence avoiding the traffic and parking challenges particularly in Lanikai ), and enjoy being in a peaceful residential neighbourhood with friendly neighbours .. We were concerned the kitchenette might be a challenge for a month’s stay , at a time of covid when we preferred not to frequent restaurants but found even in the small space , we could still , with some planning , prepare three course meals. Noni was very generous , adding a rice cooker and toaster oven to our kitchen . Noni is a wonderful host , very welcoming yet respectful of our privacy , and plays a wicked game of scrabble too The location on top of a hill has an outstanding view, and although you do share the deck space (and washer and dryer), really not a problem . Host is rude and disrespectful. Rental agreement mentions checkout time is at 11am. We left a super clean appartement at 10:40am, the exact same time that the cleaning lady arrived. It didn't affect her work at all. We visited with our 9 months girl and were rudely told by text message at checkout that kids weren’t allowed and we were dishonest without even asking questions and ever meeting us. This was our first time on VRBO after a dozen of great experiences on another popular rental service I can't name with perfect reviews as guest. Some people act like that because it’s their nature, you want to rent their house? What surprise comes next... You decide... We never encountered such a rude host.
