I was in towm for the Roth Conference, and Angelfish was just a 10 minute Uber ride to the conference, so it was womderful to be able to combine the "getaway" experience of Angelfish with the business of the conference. Shannon was a phenomenal host. She really thought of everything.The view from the deck is spectacular. 1 minute walk to the beach. It really is the perfect beach town getaway pad.

What an amazing place with great views, comfortable beds and a well-appointed kitchen! Check in was a breeze and we'll be back soon!

Place was great a lot of room for our group of 10.

Our daughter is a university student in the area and we wanted to escape Canadian winter and also spend a few days of her spring break with her. This beach cottage was perfect. It was comfortable and cozy and in the most beautiful little town. We were so glad to be able to prepare and enjoy our own meals while enjoying the sunset over the balcony. The house was stocked with everything needed and was perfectly clean. We loved being able to take towels and chairs down to the ocean each morning—watching the surfers while sipping coffee and digging our toes in the hot sand. Sam Clemente felt quiet and sleepy in comparison to the other beaches we went to this weekend. It felt like it could be home and this retreat offered everything we needed to pretend that it was. Thank you, Janelle, for your hospitality and sharing your home with us.

Very clean. Brand new sofas very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of dishes, utensils, and cookware. Comfortable bed. Brought our own feather pillows. Shower water pressure good enough. Lots of towels. Lots of windows so good air flow. Convenient to have off street parking - easy to park a van. Easy to communicate with Bill - very nice guy. The street was noisy at times but sleeping was not a problem. Would stay here again. Thank you Bill.

The house was in a beautiful location, in a quiet neighborhood. Famous Fish Tacos just down the street. After every day of exploring we were able to come 'home' for a swim before settling in for dinner and the night. From here we were able to get to the beach (with surfing) in 10min, Legoland in 35min Disneyland in 40min, San Diego zoo in 55min and Universal Studioes took about 2hrs. We flew into San Diego which was very easy compared to LAX, and the drive is about an hour. Bradley was a wonderful host and gave fantastic recommendations on places to eat and visit. You can tell they really love their property, love the area and want others to enjoy their time while they are there. This was a great place to experience Southern California.
