We enjoyed our stay very much. It was quiet and peaceful, with an amazing mountain location. The scenery was spectacular and the distance from the many different attractions in the area was not an issue at all.

This was a great spot for a family getaway. It’s a great space and the location is great. Check in was super easy and kitchen was superb. Would stay here again for some skiing next time.

Perfect for a couple. Comfortable place to stay for as long as you need. Great mountain views. River lies just beyond the railroad tracks. Considerable rail traffic but rooms are well insulated so sound is dampened

My husband and daughter and I stayed here when she participated in the Golden Ultra which had stages both in Golden and at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. It was a very convenient location. The kitchen was well set up for cooking and we enjoyed relaxing in the great room between events. The bathrooms have been recently updated and the finishings make it seem like home. We would definitely come again.

We were looking for a quite get away from the city which was pet friendly. We stumbled upon this property. Owners were vey sweet and friendly.
It was quite with a nice view of the mountains but still nestled in the woods with a raised deck which was perfect for our little four legged buddy. Lots of humming birds and wildlife.
Second day we 4x4ed our way up the mountain and down to some amazing scenery. Rapids/waterfall/campground. The trail had was about 13min from the cabin.
We also spent some time in golden which is a stone throw away. Barbecued a few times and played lots rummy.
The only criticism I have is the photos on the listing fall short of how amazing this cabin actually is!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
