Vacation rentals near Islewood Drive Community Park

We were attending a wedding at Horne Lake. This was a great place to stay, 15 minutes away.

The property featured a grand vista looking south over the water from a high bank. We enjoyed the view from a sheltered seating/ dining area, as well as from the 2 lounge chairs near the bank. King sized bed was also a great bonus.

This was great! Good location. Just a short walk to the beach and close to everything you need!

Lovely little cabin surrounded by trees, very relaxing. Attention has been paid to every detail - kitchen is well appointed, nice bathroom, comfy beds. Host was very helpful with enquiries.

This property is in a great location. People are friendly and it is well maintained. Love the close beach access. House was well stocked with quality beds and bedding. Everything went smoothly.

It was delightful to stay at this quaint little cabin! It's well appointed with everything needed, and the location right on the beach is ideal. I had the pleasure of watching eagles, herons, seals, sea otters, and many more forms of wildlife right out the front window. The cozy fireplace is a great added touch for the cool evenings. If you seek quiet, solitude, and a beautiful venue to re-charge, this place is for you.

This property was absolutely incredible. Everything from the sauna to the binoculars to the fans. The French press threw me off as I’ve never used one before. lol. Thank you Robin!

I was immediately charmed by the property before even opening the door. The entry was was welcoming, and yard beautiful. I entered to find a fresh, obviously newly renovated or decorated unit that was bright and pleasing and looking even better than the photos on the listing. AND, the location was beautifully quiet and peaceful. I didn't hear a sound other than birds the whole time I was there. The seating area was comfy and included a dedicated table for my laptop. The bed was a very comfortable foam mattress with an abundance of pillows. A quick browse of the cupboard disclosed extra blankets, which I loved, as I like to sleep with lots of cool, fresh air. The bathroom was sparkling clean. The shower has ample headroom for even the tallest person. There were lots of fluffy towels. I only cooked a tiny bit, but found all the kitchen gear I needed. There isn't a traditional stove / oven setup, but there were two induction hotplates that worked perfectly, and a large microwave oven. Lots of nice dishes and loads of cutlery. I did enjoy being able to run the dishwasher instead of washing dishes by hand. The WiFi worked well. I streamed a movie with no problem. While I never met my hosts, the welcoming message and instructions were perfectly complete. I would recommend this unit for one person or a couple without reservation.
