Our stay with Vicky and her property was fantastic. She is incredibly accommodating and transparent about the property and rules. She is very considerate and caring, which is reflective of her space. My only note is that some info on the listing (towel package prices and pet rules) needs to be updated, as there was some confusion via messaging. Other than that, I highly recommend staying at Vicky's space; it will definitely be considered for future trips.

Wow were we ever blown away when we walked into this place!Our awesome host DJ was there to give us a tour and it is beautiful on the inside and out!Super high celings, and so stylishly decorated. Everything you could need has been carefully thought out and is there for use. Even the cutlery made us say oh my god! lolDefinitely more like a dream home on the water compared to a cottage. Everything worked perfectly and the beds were so comfy. The back deck was our favorite spot with the gas fireplace and the view!Close 2nd was the small deck where we had our coffee at the water each morning. Catching fish was super easy! We caught sunfish whenever we wanted and at least a big bass a day. We cant wait to book again for next summer. Best vacation rental we have ever had by far.

Booked Villa Serenity for a weekend golf getaway with 16 guys and the property was perfect for us. Plenty of room for everyone to relax, lounge and sleep. Pool was a fantastic treat after a day of golf. Kitchen had all of the necessary amenities for us to prepare a couple of breakfasts & a couple of dinners as well. Location was close to Bobcaygeon and the golf courses we were playing that weekend as well. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay with a larger group.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this warm, inviting, and cozy cottage. It’s adorned with extremely comfy furniture, the bedrooms received “great sleep” reviews from each of our guests, and the canoes led to a thoroughly delightful adventure. We chose the month of November for our trip, which isn’t known as the cottaging season, but don’t sleep on it! These months are flawless; there’s way less boat and people traffic, and they keep the property very clean. The kitchen appliances, from coffee maker to stove top, are modern and very convenient. This is a lovely cottage! We did a silly thing where each person made a PowerPoint explaining what we do for a living (since friends rarely know what each other REALLY do, day-to-day). The AppleTV in the living room made this setup a breeze, it was flawlessly executed and we had a ton of fun together. All in all, we’d absolutely be back here. The hot tub was a dream after making a quick sprint into the lake! We’re grateful to have been welcomed here, it’s a lovely cottage and a great place to make memories.

Perfect spot for a fall getaway.

The property is beautiful and spacious from the Lakehouse to the beach! It has something for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I stayed here a week. It was very easy to find using Waze. The property is directly across the street from Sandy Lake Beach. It is very private and serene. Note of caution, we have 2 smalls dogs and went out late in the the backyard. We heard coyotes growling very closely to where we were standing. We didn't take them out to the back yard after dark after this. This is no fault of the owners, just mother nature. The house itself was amazing. It has a very opulent feel to it. It was very relaxing. We had a couple very minor issues and the owners were very quick to reply and help out. We loved our stay and most likely will return in the future. We highly recommend this cottage. :)

This amazing cottage is exactly as is described on VRBO. The Buckhorn Blue cottage is built with all high end materials, deco and and appliances. The main floor is all open concept that look out on the Trent River Myself and 12 ladies spent the weekend in this amazing cottage and were very comfortable in the 5 bedroom and 4 1/2 bathroom cottage The owners Kathy and John Sokolowski are very helpful and always available if needed. It is obvious the owner take great pride in there cottage as it is very clean and setup beautifully. The cottage is perfect for a group of people or family. I will definitely be booking again and would highly recommend that anyone readying this review will convince you to do the same. Darlene
