Windigo Docks vacation rentals

Our family had a great time at this property. The house is beautiful, clean and has everything you need and more. The lake was great for swimming and we really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards that were provided. The hosts were very easy to deal with and responded quickly to any questions we had. One thing to note is the house is up on the side of a bank which provides lovely views but the path to the lake is a bit steep - no issue for us but could be tricky for someone with mobility issues.

The cottage was very clean, table beautifully set and complete with anything you could think of; even coffee syrups! There were lots of towels for the spa and shower. We drove from Ontario to meet our kids who live in Laval. It took us 11.5 hrs on the long weekend. I was so happy when we got there to see how well the cottage was set up. The scenery was great, the spa super and the lake swimmable! If I was to say anything perhaps a few more rolls of toilet paper or a note of how many are supplied as we did have to go buy more. It was a wonderful, comfortable and enjoyable visit! Thank you for your hospitality!

Grace made our stay fantastic with a well stocked house including wood, we will definitely recommend her to other friends!

Rainer and Grace are wonderful hosts, they were warm, kind and helpful. They were truly dedicated to making our stay as easy and relaxing as possible. The house itself was lovely, very rustic and charming, you feel like you are visiting a friend’s home. Everything was immaculately clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need, from small appliances to tons of spices. The beds were all extremely comfortable, and the linens clean and soft. The only thing we missed in the house was that maybe a few more table or floor lamps would be nice, especially in the Living Room where we found it hard to read with the overhead light only. Both the Sauna and the Hot Tub were a real treat, especially since we could finish with a refreshing swim in the lake. One of our favourite parts of this place was the shaded lookout above the beach. The view was spectacular and the seats were comfortable. My mother spent the majority of our visit there! The beach was much prettier than I thought it would be, with a nice mixture of sand, pebbles and some beautiful pieces of driftwood. Plus no seaweed at all! The views from the beach were spectacular, there is a sandy cove to one side but most of the view face out far onto the large lake and islands in the distance. Rainer was nice enough to take us out on his pontoon for a tour and left us to enjoy a picnic on a delightful sandy island, which we had all to ourselves. We are so thankful to Grace and Rainer for making our holiday so special on stunning Reservoir Baskatong.
