Vacation rentals near Playa Tárcoles

It was awsome. Clean, well appointed, great communication. Prorrty did not disapoing. Fishing was awsome!

My family of 7 just stayed here would absolutely recommend and stay here again. Just as advertised and the outdoor area/ pool are fantastic. The view is stunning! You are in the jungle so you get to see all kinds of wildlife everyday (toucans, macaws, lots of iguana's etc). We cooked dinner at the house most nights of our stays. The kitchen is well equipped in terms of appliances (oven, microwave, dishwasher, air-fryer, BBQ). My only suggestion would be a few more cooking dishes, there is only one 9X9 backing dish, which was tricky when cooking for 7 ppl, but we made out ok because of the BBQ. The house was very clean. We had 1 minor issue with something breaking, the owners had it repaired immediately the next day - impressive! Keep in mind you are in the jungle, so if you are the type of person that is going to be upset if there is a bug or little gecko on the wall or in your shower then this might not be the location for you. For us being surrounded by jungle was definitely part of the appeal though. I would suggest a 4X4 vehicle, you are climbing a mountain to get to the house and the road is a little rugged (which we expected) We did a large grocery shop in San Jose, but there are several small stores to pick things up throughout your stay within a 20 minutes drive of the house. Highly recommend the Catarata waterfall hike if you are fit enough to do a steep 2km hike each way. Not an easy hike but Gorgeous! Take lots of water

My family and I spent 10 wonderful days here. The house met all our needs. It was spacious, the view from the outside room was spectacular and we were just a very short walk to the beach. Many times we had the beach to ourselves. The surf was fun, water warm and beach sandy. Who could ask for anything more?!!! Olga made a lot of meals for us. It made our experience here truly a vacation. Olga is a wonderful lady who makes delicious meals and was accommodating to our wishes. I would highly recommend her. She also has a great sense of humour. 😊 I really enjoyed having around. This would be a great place to return to. 😊🌴🍹😎

Except for the normal costa Rican noise - New Years parties, roosters and dogs the place was exactly as advertised. We were very pleased. Thanks for everything!

The property was a beautiful place

This was our third time staying in the Golden Reef condos. Needless to say, we really like the building and area. This particular condo is a top floor unit with phenomenal views. The enormous balcony has ample space for everyone to relax, read, eat, etc. The interior is also very large and equipped with everything that we needed. One other major perk of staying here is having direct access to Playa Blanca. This is the best beach in Costa Rica and a great beach for children. Can’t wait to come back…

What a spectacular property and out of this world view. So private and secluded. Carlos and Gina were just lovely and prepared beautiful meals for us every day. Pete and Lisa helped create a j packed itinerary which kept our teenagers super engaged and loving the adventures of Costa Rica. The house is stunning and has sensational views out to the Pacific Ocean. We loved the hot tub with a view and swimming right out of the house. Thank you for an exceptional experience and beautiful home. We could not have wanted more.
