Vacation rentals near Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve

They undersold this place! Our stay was a 6/5! Great house, great views, great location, great walking paths! By far our best stay in Costa Rica! Book this place with absolute peace of mind!

We stayed in Casa Verde for 3 days while we explored Monteverde. I love the location as it was away from the town but relatively close. We could walk to the Cloud Forest (make sure you get your passes first though). The house itself was well stocked, although it could have used a heat source as it was pretty cold at night. We took advantage of the hot tub which was a nice treat after our day hikes. Highly recommend checking out El Tigre Waterfalls and Selvatura while in the area.

From the time of booking to the moment we left Marty and Nita were excellent hosts! The property is mesmerizing and they provide excellent info regarding where to eat, excursions, tipping in CR, car rentals, etc. Their property sits atop a small mountain with jungle surroundings, exquisite gardens, and a great view of the volcano. The suite was superb with many extras for use like binoculars, bug spray, umbrellas, toiletries, beverages in the fridge, a welcome gift, robes and slippers to mention a few. The made to order breakfasts were delicious and the pools and hot tub in the pristine surroundings devine. Their fur babies gave us some love which was terrific since we missed ours so much. They only have 2 suites so sometimes it feels like you own the place as you lounge outdoors in the sun. I could go on and on! Highly recommend you stay here! If you are looking for a place to stay in Monteverde, look no further. This is a beautiful home located near town that offers so much. The house was incredibly clean and offered lots of space for our house. Sitting on the patio looking out on the forest never gets old. Finally, Evelyn the host is highly communicative and offers great local tips. Highly recommended!

Absolutely beautiful house in the jungle , we saw monkeys , kowtow and lots of birds on our very first day ! Daniela is awesome

Our stay at the Encantada Arenal was wonderful Marty and Nita are super hosts, and their property is amazing! It was fun sitting having coffe in the morning and watching the Tucans eat the fruit off the tree outside the cottage. The views are amazing and the people are so nice and warm and friendly. The view of lake Arenal is spectacular and the volcano is amazing. There is so much to do there you will never be bored.We look forward to our next trip back to Encantada Arenal.

The house was perfect. We had our two kids (3 & 5) and my dad with us and the three bedroom house was great. Well furnished, clean, and the host Daniela was amazing. The location took us a minute to find (Waze and Google Maps don’t have accurate directions) but Daniela gave us a video of the route showing where to turn. Once we found it, it was easy. It’s very close to many restaurants, has a playground across the street, and a short drive to any of the major attractions. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Property is better than in the pictures. Pool and jacuzzi were immaculately clean. Great views and well appointed kitchen. The supplied coffee was delicious. Monkeys and birds were entertaining. Location close to activities and provided a needed quiet from the fast paced adventure activities. Nearby restaurants were all 10/10. Highly recommend.
