Lovely cottage in a great spot - very comfortable for four of us. You should note that the steps down to the lake are steep!

Lovely, clean property directly across from the Muskoka river Nice dock/sitting area to enjoy some reading and relaxing. Ample amenities, just remember (as Leslie reminded me) to bring your own bedding/towels. Firewood is provided as well, but check the weather beforehand, as there were some damp days before I arrived so if you aren't solid at starting fires, bring your own (and some softwood)) There are also neighbors on either side who kept to themselves, as did I so ZERO issues with that. However, if you're looking for a secluded, blare music and be rowdy, this certainly would not be the place for you. Price point was great, Leslie's communication was top notch, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for having me :)

We loved this place. The chipmunks alone were worth the price of admission but the location is great, the house and grounds are beautiful, it has everything you would want for a family vacation. Maryanne was very responsive. We will come back again and will refer friends and family. We are thrilled to have discovered Serendipity!

Our group of 13 guys from the city had an absolutely amazing weekend at this cottage, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The property was gorgeous, with a stunning main house that was spacious, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a large group.We especially loved the sauna, fire pit, dock, and hot tub—each one added something special to our stay and made our time outdoors even more enjoyable. The lake and surrounding nature were breathtaking, and we took full advantage of the peaceful setting.A special shout-out to the owners for their responsiveness. When the power went out due to rain, they had someone come out almost immediately to get the generator running, which was much appreciated and ensured our comfort wasn’t interrupted.Overall, this was a top-notch experience, and we’ll definitely be considering a return trip in the future. Very clean and well laid out. Multiple sitting areas to enjoy. Everything we needed. Would love to visit again in summer or Fall. Didnt make it to the yard or outer porch as there was too much snow. But very pretty scenery.

We had a great time and the house was perfect for 10 of us!

I went there with my family of four. It was a short stay for 3 nights. The place is right on the water and most of the time we played in the water since most of the time of stay kept raining. We planned for boat rental and water sking but the weather screwed them up. But we still enjoyed the beautiful place.

Amazing cottage over looking the lake. Enjoyed the large dock and fire pit to sit back and relax. The new cottage was fully equipped, spacious and extremely comfortable. Tara was an amazing host.
