Vacation rentals near Cosita Rica Beach

The property was great, spacious, very good location and the best was the garden with the patio and swimming pool and magnificent view. Michael the owner was very attentive to our needs.

6 of us stayed at the beautiful Villa Playamor for March Break. Everything was exactly as advertised - the house was huge and absolutely spotless. We'd been in contact with our host multiple times before our stay with so many questions and he was always quick to answer. We had great drivers to and from the airport - a large van with plenty of room for us and all our luggage. Lorenzo was even waiting for us at the airport with a sign with our name! We felt like vips from the moment we landed. The pool and back porch had tons of room for us with shade and sun, and an incredible view. We spent most of our time in and around the pool but we did also do a half day city tour that included the cable car up the mountain. Gus arranged everything for us so we were picked up in a private coach and had our own private tour guide escorting us everywhere. We also took the kids to Ocean World (a 5 minute walk away) and loved it. There really isn't anything to do in the town of Cofresi itself, the beach is ok but a little dirty and there were a lot of people selling things. There is a small convenience store as well but it is pretty overpriced. Nelly took us grocery shopping in Puerto Plata after we chose our meals for the week and everything she made was amazing. If you're traveling from Canada I would suggest you exchange your money to Dominican pesos rather than usd, since you're exchanging anyway and it seemed a bit cheaper that way. Upon arrival I felt welcome immediately and knew I had made the right choice for my solo 2 week stay. Grounds are so pretty with orchids and hibiscus and song birds to wake up to. The casita had everything I needed and was comfortable with just ceiling fans, any issues were minor and dealt with rapidly.. Pool area is very pretty and calming. Walk to the beach in mere minutes, as well as many restos. Again, it is the hospitality of the property owners, who are lovely, as well as the Dominican people that I love most, so will be back in April. If you want tranquility and a non-resort experience stay here!
