Wow! Not enough characters to described this amazing property! Eleni the host was the best! Check in was super easy, she left us some olive oil, raki, and essentials to get us going for the first night until we could go to market. The house is amazing, even better than the pictures. Don’t be mislead by some Google pictures that someone posted that are not from the property. This house was amazing, the location is perfect for visiting Balos, Elafonisi, Falasarna. 1000% recommended, I think we will go to Crete next year for the third time and for sure we will be booking with Eleni! Beautiful property. We were a party of 6, 4 adults and 2 teenage kids 17&13. We were very comfortable in the property.

The house near Georgioupolis was perfect and exactly as represented in the listing. The Owners were welcoming and attentive. The little treats they brought were much appreciated. The views and landscaping were outstanding. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a quiet place.

We spent a glorious 3 days in this apartment--waking each morning to warm sunshine as we sipped coffee on the east facing deck overlooking the inlet and watching early morning walkers and runners and listening to the hustle and bustle of the restaurants surrounding the water preparing for the day.Our host was fantastic--explaining, on check-in, all the necessary things to enjoy our stay and use of his home. There were chocolates on our beds at arrival, cookies and cake and coffee pods and water, juice and wine in the fridge for our enjoyment. We've been to a number of VRBO's in the past, and none have surpassed this one!A huge thankyou to our hosts for making our stay wonderful!

There was always something to do here, whether swimming in the ocean which was more calm than a lake, or in the pool or playing basketball or in the backyard player with sand. There were also so many toys! Our kids range from 3-11 and it was an amazing stay for all. As a mother to so many hungry people it meant a lot to me that when we arrived on Saturday evening so many grocery staples (and extras) were waiting for us! How relaxing to not have to wake up and worry about how or where to find food! There were quite a few restaurants nearby as well. The back sitting area under the beautiful pink flowers is like a dream to have breakfast under also. We hope to come back again soon!

My husband and I rented this magnificent villa for a month with our 5 month old daughter. We had friends and family members come stay with us for a few days at a time and were looking for a home away from home in Crete to relax and explore this beautiful island. Everything about our stay at the villa has been simply perfect. First of all it was easy getting there and Vasiliki was a fantastic host all throughout our stay, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She provided useful insights about places to visit and was responsive and kind. The house was spotless, the pool as stunning as in the pictures and how about that view!! You can see the mountains in the background, the sea and the beautiful lush green surroundings of the area. The location was ideal, between two small villages with the beautiful quiet Kera beach a few steps from the house. Both nearby villages have supermarkets and pharmacies, and we enjoyed getting fresh fish, meats and other local products from Kalyves. The location was also great for visiting, being near Chania, as we were close enough to see a great number of spots even at the south of the island and thats with a baby! We were able to go to dinner to Chania and drive back at night, we felt very safe on the road. I could go on and on about this place, it was simply magical and allowed us to make memories that will last a lifetime. You can stop searching, rent this place, you will be happy you did.

The cottage completely exceeded our expectations, our stay was even better than the pictures. Wonderful attention to detail throughout and great amenities for our stay (the olive oil is the best!). The courtyard is the perfect spot for morning coffee, including the extra of the daily visits from the dogs; Teddy, Chica and Daisy who you come to adore very quickly. The rooftop deck is lovely and a great place for a workout, yoga and evening sunset views and cocktails or star gazing. Johanna is a fantastic host. provided us with great details and researched options to our questions pre arrival. She also reached out just prior to arrival recognizing we were coming in late and offered to do some shopping for us in advance which we sincerely appreciated. Great recommendations, beautiful location, the grounds are lovely with orange and grapefruit trees along with the beautiful wild flowers and olive trees. The village is high up in the hills, a car or e bikes are definitely a must. The area has easily accessible walking and well marked hiking trails. We had an extended stay of almost 4 weeks, we walked everywhere for a few weeks, we used the bikes and for further out exploring we had a car. It is a remote destination, very quiet and beautiful yet easy access to the bigger destinations. Johanna thank you for such a memorable stay and experience. Our week stay was perfect. Lots of space, great pool and view. Ria the host is nearby if you need anything she is very helpful. Attention to detail is amazing. There are 3 restaurants close by. It is a 10 out of 10.!!
