Catamaran cruise

Stopped here after our Catamaran cruise. We had a party of 10 (4left us in Athens). The house, the neighbors, the village and the restaurants were everything you could want. We rented a van for our party. Beware the driveway to the house is treacherous for a large car. Get 2 small cars and you will be bettter off. The only suggestion would be to have a nice coffee maker. The coffee pods were great but we had a hard time finding additional pods for the unit in the home. The mattresses are tough on an old back, a softer supportive matrices would be a nice touch. The snacks and wine were a pleasant surprise being we got in late and didn’t have time to shop.

A piece of paradise

The property exceeded our expectations in every way possible. It was all that we had ever dreamed of, a place to find complete peace of mind. The house was just like you would expect a Greek Island farmhouse in the mountains and it had all amenities needed. Our timing helped too, as June seemed to be a quieter and cooler period but warm to enjoy the terrace even at night and the water in the sea was just perfect. Georgia was a master super/Host, she gave us lots of interesting facts about the islands history and culture and also shared fresh fruits and vegetables from her garden. She makes the best (and I mean it) the very best Dolmades i have ever tasted. We were even fortunate to be invited to a wedding at the Akamatra square. Georgia had a cat and we adopted another one and there were also 5 tiny kittens roaming. So we will be back again...
