Great House, Great location

We had a wonderful stay in OOB and this house was perfect for our family. It's very comfortable and is well equipped - with lots of extras too. Kids loved the basketball net, the firepit, the games... The location is very close to the local food market, and main tourist souvenir shops and only a 15 minute walk to the beach down Walnut street. Highly recommended!

Holiday at Higgins Beach Farm

The Higgins Beach farm is a big old house on about 5 acres that has been modernized. Our family of 7 adults and 3 grand-kids ranging in age from 8-12 were very comfortable in the space available without using the optional apartment, and the only person in the large five-beds room was our 12 year old granddaughter. The recent addition of a very nice and large swimming pool was very important to our family; since the days were very warm, and we were happy to make only one visit (15 min walk) to the local beach each day. Seven bikes were available for those that wanted to ride to the beach. The family found a number of day trips that they wanted to do in the surrounding community, and several very nice eat-out places were easily identified in the extensive provided by the host. Marilys, the host, was readily available and totally co-operative in dealing with questions that we encountered during our stay. The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been a few umbrellas in the pool area and on the large and otherwise comfortable back deck. The latter was great for star watching at the end of the day.
