Kerengi Cottage is a beautiful very modern tiny home. Beautifully constructed, and everything to make your stay smooth and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful - he built the cottage [and the main house himself]. We stayed 5 nights - family of 3. Cooked in the house for most of our meals, and slept peacefully in the quiet countryside location. There are excellent blinds to keep the cottage dark in the limited summer night, and a beautiful deck on which to enjoy a morning coffee. There is the benefit of a washer and drier in the suite too. The location is very central to the Golden Circle.

Beautiful cottage in an absolutely incredible setting. Nanna and Fredrik make sure that you have everything you need and make you feel welcome and comfortable.Highlights are the geothermal outdoor hot tub and shower as well as the views and the nearby river.Also a fantastic location for visiting golden circle attractions. Strongly recommend this cottage to anybody visiting Iceland.

This house was great for our multi-generation family trip (2-85 years). It was large enough that everyone had their space while still being together. The kids loved the lakeside beach while the adults enjoyed the hot tub. The host was easy to communicate with and had everything we needed. Would stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Yurt. It was very unique and cozy experience. We really enjoyed the ambience, and the breakfast in the morning was a lovely really excellent!

I can't say enough about this house and the view it has! This property is, by far, the best experience we had during our seven weeks in Europe! The perfect end to a wonderful trip! 5 stars just isn't enough for the experience we had! Can't wait to come back!!!

I stayed at this property with my wife, our one year old son, and my parents. The location is perched up on a hill with a great view overlooking the river. The house itself is modern and beautifully designed. Extremely functional great room with kitchen island and large couch to accommodate our relatively large family. Comfortable beds and nice extra touches including chocolates on arrival. Large deck with hot tub; perfect to relax and take in the views. Property managers were exceptional; friendly, accommodating, and easily accessible. We would love to visit again!!!

Wonderful location with a drop dead view. Host was super and accommodated changes we needed to make. Home was considerately stocked with esstentials such as coffee/ tea and spices. Loved the bathrobes and home is tastefully decorated. We truly enjoyed every minute and couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and relaxing home base for our iceland adventures.

With the big windows throughout the home we felt like we were part of the landscape. Such a beautiful view - including a Northern Lights show. There were seven of us - 2 families - and the accommodations were perfect. Lots of beds and two large bathrooms, one for each family. We made use of the hot tub which was relaxing and picturesque. I’ve never seen a kitchen so well equipped, and a wonderful large table for all to eat together. The living room was lovely and there were games for the kids. We highly recommend this home. Agni was responsive to any questions and we thank him and his family for opening their home to us. Wonderful memories!
