Vacation rentals near Punta Penna

This property is beautifully designed and very comfortable for 3 couples. The layout of the buildings and landscaping ensure complete privacy. The "backyard" area with a pool and eating area is fabulous. We used the forno oven to cook pizza 3 nights and it was a great experience. The property is very well supplied with everything you need for a comfortable stay.You will need your own transportation here as it is off the beaten track. We had rented road bikes for some riding to Monopoli and Marta Franca and the first part of the road riding is tough with bumpy dirt roads and then a narrow highway.The owner, Will, is an amazing communicator and kept in close touch throughout our stay. His warm hospitality enhanced the trip for us all.

Our stay was exceptional. The host went of their way to ensure we had information about the area with suggestions on places to go, how to get there and options for dining and shopping. Communication was outstanding. We were greeted on arrival. The villa was beautiful. It was beyond our expectations. The property was updated, decorated tastefully, well maintained and squeaky clean. There were so many thoughtful details such as extra towels, candles, wine, cheese, munchies, the list is endless including delicious cakes for birthday celebrations. The villa was in an olive grove and among almond, fig, pomegranate and a variety of citrus trees. It had an herb garden and a variety of interesting plants. Every room had its own unique charm. We enjoyed the peace, quiet and safe environment. It was a short drive into Ostuni, neighbouring villages and markets and a perfect base for touring Puglia. Thank you again for the wonderful experience. It was beyond our expectations and we loved it!

What an incredible 2-week holiday our party of four had at Daniele’s villa. The stay began with a very warm welcome from Daniele, who has a keen sense of hospitality. The pool and the outdoor space were what made us choose this villa in the first place and they did not disappoint. Surrounded by a large garden with olive trees, fruit trees and manicured grass, the pool is huge, super clean and so refreshing, and has lots of sitting/lounging areas. The outdoor kitchen was the highlight for us: equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a TV and Bluetooth speaker system. We spent all our time there, keeping our food in the outdoor refrigerator, so we never had to run inside the house to grab anything. What an incredible time we had preparing meals (fantastic brick BBQ!), sipping local Primitivo wines and chatting about the discoveries of the day. We took advantage of the pizza oven when Daniele and his family graciously treated us to a pizza night. What an incredible evening: delightful company and delicious pizza! The outdoor area was so comfortable and well equipped that we only used the house to sleep and shower (there’s also a full bathroom next to the outdoor kitchen). The unit is spotlessly clean, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the AC works well. The villa is well located to explore the beautiful region (Brindisi, Ostuni, Alberobello, Taranto, Lecce, and countless beaches). We rented a car at Brindisi airport, which is a 20-minute drive from the villa. A 10-minute drive will take you to several supermarkets. Unlike large Italian cities, it’s quite easy to drive in Puglia. A few reviews mentioned the nearby train, which we did not find disturbing at all, so no worries there. Daniele was an incredible host, making himself available for any questions throughout our stay. Thanks again, Daniele, for your great hospitality! I highly recommend Daniele’s villa. Was quite unusual, the main place and across from that was the bedroom in a truilli.
