Vacation rentals near Museo Stibbert

We spent a perfect week thanks in large part to our VRBO host, Candida Bing. We had our own 2-bedroom guest cottage right next to her Tuscan farmhouse – and her great Tuscan breakfasts were so delicious. She even prepared an authentic multi-course, Tuscan dinner with wines for my wife and I. It was so romantic and idyllic as we sat on her terrace in the early evening looking down into the valley below filled with endless rows of grape vines. It was like out of a painting and one of the most memorable meals of our lives. Candida was so helpful in assisting us find local restaurants, medieval towns, and special wineries. The best vacation of our life. We unreservedly recommend Candida's property to anyone in search of an extraordinary experience in the Chianti region of Tuscany. Thank you Candida. Location was perfect, bed was comfortable and Luca was a gem.

The Villa was simply stunning. There were 8 of us and we all felt we had plenty of space. The pool was glorious and with the surrounding countryside it was just so peaceful and relaxing. The kitchen was great to cook in for our family dinners. The walk to the bus seemed longer than 1 mile but, once you got to the bus, it was a quick ride into the heart of Florence. We found the transit super easy to navigate, when compared to other places in Europe we have stayed, and so we were able to take day trips to Bologna, Pisa, Verona, Siena and San Gimignano. Marinella was super helpful and, had she not been around, we would not have been able to find a van to get us to the airport for our next flight without her help. We would definitely stay at the villa again if we came back to Florence.

2 of us stayed for 6 nights at the apartment in Florence, larger than it looks in the pictures, great location ( 2 minutes to Ponte Vecchio) on the 2nd floor. Very quiet in the bedroom yet you can listen to all the fun on the street below. Johanne was helpful when we checked in and was always available if we had questions. We highly recommend it.

The apartment was exactly as advertised, very clean and spacious, perfect for our family of 3. All equipment that we needed to prepare meals after long days of exploring was provided and if we didn't feel like cooking, there were many restaurants nearby. The proximity to the historical centre was ideal, and the quiet neighbourhood was great to come back to at the end of the day. Alessandra is a wonderful host; excellent communications, helpful and provided very useful recommendations and information to introduce us to Florence. Anyone looking for a comfortable, quiet apartment that's close to major attractions (Uffizi, Boboli Gardens, Palazzo Pitti, Ponte Vecchio) would be pleased to stay here.

We loved it. Bigger than we thought from pictures. Very roomy. Amazed at great restaurants close by. San Casciano is great.

Luca was a most welcoming and entertaining host! We weren’t able to select a room on the VRBO site which description could be improved, but Luca immediately helped us by switching to a level entry room. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about olive oil production - but the highlight was the cooking class with Antonia & Luca! So much fun!
