This well-equipped, spacious apartment offers a comfortable respite from the crowds of tourists elsewhere in the city. In the Mimi apartment we enjoyed a glimpse into the authentic Florence, as the home retains the furnishings and decorations of the family that once resided there. We felt entirely at home there, and also enjoyed the amenities of the neighbourhood, especially the nearby pasticceria where we had our breakfast cappuccini and brioche each morning. Alessandra was an attentive host, offering an efficient and congenial check-in and helping us with arrangements for getting to the airport. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The Villa was simply stunning. There were 8 of us and we all felt we had plenty of space. The pool was glorious and with the surrounding countryside it was just so peaceful and relaxing. The kitchen was great to cook in for our family dinners. The walk to the bus seemed longer than 1 mile but, once you got to the bus, it was a quick ride into the heart of Florence. We found the transit super easy to navigate, when compared to other places in Europe we have stayed, and so we were able to take day trips to Bologna, Pisa, Verona, Siena and San Gimignano. Marinella was super helpful and, had she not been around, we would not have been able to find a van to get us to the airport for our next flight without her help. We would definitely stay at the villa again if we came back to Florence.

We had a great stay at the Apartment Alice. Stefano and his daughter were onsite at our arrival to welcome us and explain everything about the apartment. The apartment is well furnished with everything you could need. We were surprised it had a laundry machine and a dishwasher. Pictures and description are accurate. However, the sofa bed was not as comfortable as we would have hoped. Location is good, near the train station, walking distance to the tram/bus and 15 min walk to the centro. Grocery stores at walking distance are small, but bigger ones are a few bus/tram stop away. Communication with Stefano through the stay was excellent. We loved our stay in this beautiful city and would not hesitate staying again.

Great location if you like to walk in the old world city, which we certainly did. Close to Tram. A but of a walk to restaurants, but planning helps. Secure and safe, cool with AC and kitchen for meals. 2 full Bathrooms, Laundry very helpful for end of first journey and beginning of another for one couple. Quiet on the whole. Small elevator for 3rd floor lodging and luggage. Nostalgic building, but with modern interiors and fixtures. Our host, Nik was very accommodating for us and friendly and helpful. Would stay again and recommend.

Beautifully decorated place , high cellings, excellent location ( walking distance to all the attractions, Duomo, supermarkets and restaurants), super clean, brand new appliances, well equipped . It was very safe to walk in the evening, and very convenient to absolutely everything. Nik is a wonderful host, very professional, thoughtful and was quick to respond to all our questions and requests. Highly recommend this beautiful place.

My wife and I have stayed in dozens of different VRBO properties around the world and actually used to own one where we never received less than a five star review so we know a great property when we find one. I will honestly say this is the cleanest I have ever found a rental house, absolutely immaculate. They take all of the bedding offsite to be professionally cleaned and I felt like I was staying in a high-end hotel. The fireplace was fantastic and we had unlimited firewood for beautiful fires every night. Jerome is an incredible host with fantastic communication and he gets back to you every time very quickly. The property itself is very secluded and private, and we did not hear another sound other than many birds. The local town of Castellina was wonderful and we tried many restaurants that Jerome recommended and they were all great! Book this property you will not be disappointed.

Jane and her wonderful husband were so accommodating. They were a wealth of information of places to go & see and where to eat. Their place is in a beautiful location which gives you the true Tuscan experience. Jane arranged for us us to have the most wonderful wine tasting at the Frescobaldi winery. Because Jane knew we were arriving from a long flight from Canada she offered to get us supplies beforehand so that we would have something to eat and not have to go grocery shopping upon arrival. Their home is surrounded by gardens which they grow their own herbs which they told us to help ourselves to. Everything in their listing was as stated and even more. If we could give more than a five star rating we would. When we visit Tuscany again we will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for making our Tuscany experience one of the best.
