Vacation rentals near Petrarca Theater

We were five mature women looking for the full tuscan experience and we found it. The villa is as beautiful as described. Spacious rooms, big kitchen and the pool area was lovely. The outdoor breakfast area was especially popular for morning coffees. If you go, though, you must have a car as public transportation is not easily accessible. The kitchen is well equipped but was missing some basic food supplies, such as salt and pepper, spices or paper towels. I would also have expected there to be sufficient toilet paper and hand soap for the bathrooms but we had to buy that as well. Not a huge deal, more of an inconvenience really. Overall though, one of the nicest places we've stayed at. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful spacious 2 bedroom apartment right where you WANT to be while in Arezzo. Walk to everywhere: Roman ruins, Medici castle, museums and churches. Many great restaurants around every corner. Recommend Tratoria Mazzoni for family run Tuscan food heaven. We stayed for a month.

I cannot rate this property highly enough! Everything was gorgeous and impeccable. Magnificent views of Cortona and the valley below from the sprawling front lawn and the beautiful pool, a well equipped kitchen, loads of space, beautiful bathrooms and super gracious hosts . Luigi was always available, accommodating and ready to offer suggestions and recommendations for dining, day trips and wineries. This is a beautiful, special place. Thank you for hosting us!

Anna Maria & her daughter Lorella met us on arrival. They both were warm & welcoming. They ensured we were very comfortable with the property & surrounding amenities before they left. The property was better than described on VRBO’s site. The charm of the stone farm house can’t be appreciated in pictures. Living the experience is the only way to truly get a feeling of Tuscan living. Although the property was 9 kms from Cortona it was an easy country drive to town. We appreciated leaving the busyness of the surrounding tourist attractions and going back to the quiet farmhouse at the end of the day! Fratticciola is a small community but the local people were accepting & friendly! The hosts were exceptional. Anna Maria’s wine, vin Santa & cantucci was a nice welcoming gift. During our visit she ensured we had everything we needed & dropped off goodies from time to time. Lorella was only a text message away. She was very helpful with information on the surrounding area. This review cannot do justice in describing how exceptional Anna Maria & her family were as hosts. We will return!

We loved the seclusion of the property and enjoyed day trips to Arezzo, Cortona, Montevarchi and on the last day an ascent of the Pratomagno massif. The host was was very helpful and the villa was wonderfully equipped.

Fabrizio was very welcoming, helpful when needed. The house is simply incredible, well located and well furnished. Awesome view, could not wish for more.

We were a group of 12 family members in an age range from 1 to 71… We were all in heaven for the 14 days of our stay. The villa is simply magnificent and the pictures posted don’t do justice to the reality of the place. We were all able to have private moments or be all together without feeling that there was a lack of privacy… We all enjoyed immensely this villa. My older grandsons could play soccer in the park as much as they wanted while the 3 year old could try to play with the ball. As for the 1 year old, she was able to see her brother and cousins playing together in a safe way ! Andrea was an extremely attentive host always able to answer all our questions and arrange for reservations for dinner at a restaurant or to visit local winery. He was always very discreet and would come on a daily basis to make sure that everything was going well. He was never intrusive and always respectful of us. If you rent this villa, make sure to reserve in advance for the wonderful meals that are catered by Andrea and his lovely wife, Francesca. We had them for 3 nights and we enjoyed 3 very different menus…they were all so extremely good and well prepared. When they leave, the kitchen is immaculate ! The villa is extremely clean and lovingly tended…you can feel that a lot of love went into its changes over the years. All the beds are extremely confortable and the linens and towels are very high quality as well ! If you need anything, you can always ask Andrea. I wish to be back!
