This was the perfect relaxing end to our trip! It's a cozy cottage on a quiet road just up the mountain from Reggello. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and helpful.

We spent a week at Valter and his lovely wife's apartment for a week in June/25. It was perfect in every respect. It was the nicest accommodation we have ever had. Valter is a wonderful host. Available when you need him but he respects your privacy. We were welcomed with a beautiful cake and some of his homemade wine(delicious). The apartment was spotless, very well equipped and the pool was a lifesaver when it was so hot. We highly recommend this apartment and would not hesitate to stay there again. Many thanks Valter for a great stay.

Great vacation property ! We enjoyed the peace and tranquility that this amazing property offered. Loved the location and the house was great for our family of 6. Kids loved playing around the huge property and the short walks into town each day.

Had a great two week vacation at Eduardo's place in Reggello. Beautiful little cabin with a pool and well kept yard, set within an olive orchard and vineyard. Hosts passed along some fresh eggs from the hens and tomatoes from the property. The house seems quite new by Italian standards and is in excellent condition. Pool is fantastic. We had a great stay and would highly recommend this spot for small groups and families.

An amazing family holiday in a wonderful villa. Patrizia and her family are great hosts - they all work so hard to make your stay so memorable. It’s everything you would want for a stay in Tuscany.

We were a group of 12 family members in an age range from 1 to 71… We were all in heaven for the 14 days of our stay. The villa is simply magnificent and the pictures posted don’t do justice to the reality of the place. We were all able to have private moments or be all together without feeling that there was a lack of privacy… We all enjoyed immensely this villa. My older grandsons could play soccer in the park as much as they wanted while the 3 year old could try to play with the ball. As for the 1 year old, she was able to see her brother and cousins playing together in a safe way ! Andrea was an extremely attentive host always able to answer all our questions and arrange for reservations for dinner at a restaurant or to visit local winery. He was always very discreet and would come on a daily basis to make sure that everything was going well. He was never intrusive and always respectful of us. If you rent this villa, make sure to reserve in advance for the wonderful meals that are catered by Andrea and his lovely wife, Francesca. We had them for 3 nights and we enjoyed 3 very different menus…they were all so extremely good and well prepared. When they leave, the kitchen is immaculate ! The villa is extremely clean and lovingly tended…you can feel that a lot of love went into its changes over the years. All the beds are extremely confortable and the linens and towels are very high quality as well ! If you need anything, you can always ask Andrea. I wish to be back!

My husband and I were married at La Vecchia Quercia on Aug 4, 2019, and there are not enough kind words to describe Francesca, her team, and their property. The villa itself is stunning, with possibly the most incredible view of the Tuscan countryside I have ever seen. We felt as if we were walking around in a dream for our entire stay there. The villa seems to have a soul itself, and is full of happy memories from all of the guests who have stayed there. The property is about an hour and a half drive from Florence (on scenic windy roads through the countryside - also an amazing experience!), and is only five minutes from Poppi village. If you are looking for an escape from your daily life, and to feel immersed in nature and history, this is the place for you. We stayed there in the hottest month of the year and were nervous about the temperature for our wedding, but the villa's location on the hillside means you get a beautiful breeze coming through the valley, and even when temperatures were above 35 degrees during the day, it was cool and comfortable at night. As far as Francesca goes, she is the ultimate, ultimate host. When we were deciding where to get married, it was Francesca who sold us on this property above all else. She is kind, responds quickly, and is super attentive to details. She helped us with all aspects of the wedding, and directed us to vendors in the neighbourhood who would be of service to us. This villa is personally important to her, and that shines through in every square inch of the property. All of our guests were in awe of this villa, and asked us to please renew our vows again as soon as possible so we could all return there as soon as possible. This is a special place unlike any other, and if you are on the fence about booking - just do it! You won't be disappointed. Thank you Francesca for everything, we will cherish our memories there forever!!
