Vacation rentals near Museum of Torture

This property is inside the historic walls and perfectly located, close to everything! The apartment had everything we needed - terrace, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms. Lucca is a charming town with beautiful architecture, very good restaurants and cafes, and close to hiking in the hills and mountains. It was great to be able to get around without a car using the trains. We hope to be back!

Luciano was a gracious host, very prompt to respond. The apartment is cozy and in a perfect location to wander Lucca. It has everything you need.i was not well while there but enjoyed watching all the action in the square from the window. The climb up to the apartment could be challenging for some people. We are seniors and it was worth the climb.Good restaurants on your doorstep, a supermarket within a few minutes walk and a small specialty store with fresh Italian food. (Cuccuri) Great homemade pasta and sauces.

Tommaso was an excellent and attentive host who went above and beyond. The location was excellent as well and made it easy to find my way around. A small note-The rooms were scented which was not an issue for me but may be for someone allergic to fragrances. You may wish to check with Tommaso.beforehand.

It was well appointed with everything we needed, very clean on arrival and perfectly located to everything. We did not book a taxi on the day of our departure and Isabella kindly picked us up so we would not be late for our train…so thoughtful, Gracie Mille!! Great location. Made us feel like we were locals for the 5 nights we were there. Lucky for us, it wasn't too hot, as this rental does not have air conditioning. But the architecture and finishes of the unit make up for that with big windows that you can open at night. One drawback was the parking situation, but once you figure out a strategy, it is not that bad. Great place to stay in Lucca!
