Celle sul Rigo vacation rentals

From the moment we saw Livia's villa online, we knew it was THE ONE for three women wanting to really "live" in Tuscany. The location - from the terrace you see spectacular countryside (and magical sunrises too). Walk out the front door and up the hill and you are in the charming medieval village of Cetona. The sunny and warm piazza (where we sipped Aperol spritz in short sleeves in November!). Saturday morning market, a grocery store, pharmacy, bank and assorted shops and cafes (plus a Michelin star restaurant) - ALL right there! The villa is spacious and well equipped - we cooked in every night and always found what we needed. The beds were very comfortable (and I have a bad back so this is vital!), the towels and linens fresh and crisp. There is a lot of "stuff" in the house (it is a family villa after all) and quite literally miles of books (in every room). Yet after a few days I felt very much at home, like I was visiting my super-interesting relatives in their super-interesting holiday house. And then there is Patrizia - probably the best concierge/housekeeper ever! We muddled through with a mixture of (almost non-existent) Italian (us), marginally better French (also us, hers was stellar), a few English words, the translation app and a whole lot of charades. She always understood, acted promptly and never without a smile on her face. When we bid her farewell she hugged us all! No holiday rental is perfect but this one comes darn close ... thus "Perfetto"!

Me and my family (including a 1.5yr old) stayed here for 6 days and it was great!! The house and the property is spacious and they have thought of everything you would need!! Lucia was lovely and helpful and her restaurant was delicious. We would happily book here over and over again :)

We had a large group, with many kids, and this was the ideal property. It allowed us to enjoy an ideal villa in tuscany. The property is picturesque, and well maintained. Air conditioning which is not common, was present. Valerio went above and beyond to be a great host, and was very attentive. Thank you for providing this villa for a very memorable stay.

Lovely house and property! We had a good time staying here 2 nights. FYI it is an old farmhouse so expect a few little spiders, bugs, flies, cobwebs, dust bunnies, and maybe even a small scorpion (that was a surprise) but that's the same thing you'd get at any Tuscan farmhouse. The town is very cute, the woman who checked us in was very sweet, we had a fire inside and cooked our own pasta dinner, it was a perfect night. I would recommend this house.

We stayed here for 3-4 weeks in the month of September with our family of 14. We had our Grandparents, parents and kids with room and space for all of us. The farmhouse was very clean, spacious and actually better than advertised. The property was in great shape, the pool was the cleanest of any vacation that we have done. You are close to many small villages/towns, wineries, train station; all within 15 minutes. Maria was an amazing host that went above and beyond to ensure our stay met expectations. From having some food and wine ready for us at the house when we arrived, to cleaning the pool every morning, having fresh linens whenever needed, a clean of the house once per week, and helping with any local recommendations that we needed; Maria helped every step of the way.
