Vacation rentals near Mercatino dell'Usato di Spello

This was a magical place. This was our favourite by far. Manuel’s is the sweetest host and was full of information. It has everything you need. We miss that view of Spello. It’s super private and quiet. We will be back

The apartment is beautiful, well laid out, huge with a spectacular balcony view, great location close to restaurants and food stores. Marina is a super host. She met us near the apartment, helped us with luggage then went with us to parking. She organized a doctor’s house call and gave us great advice throughout our stay. The Spoletosfera parking is not far and there’s a moving sidewalk that has an exit near the apartment in Piazza Carducci. We got a monthly parking pass (abonamento di un mese Spoletosfera) at the train station for €20 versus €20 per day. Clerk needed passport and licence plate. Cameras at entrance and exit scans plate, all very easy. Spoleto is a wonderful town and is a good base for scenic drives around Umbria. We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay.

The location is perfect for Spoleto. So many great restaurants to explore. We had a car. So recommend going directly to train station for parking permit at one of the e Parcheggio. We used Spoletosfera. We found it easier to get to. Had to walk a bit to get to apartment. It is 20 euro a month to park. Versus the 20/day! So worth getting the permit. Just need you car info and drivers license or ID. Host was super helpful. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, and very well stocked kitchen! We visited many sights, wineries and small villages throughout the region. Definitely go the Montefalco Tourist office in the main square for map of Wineries in the area.

The pictures in the listing are accurate and the experience still exceeded our expectations. Jacopo serves his guests an Umbrian food experience in a perfect setting. We stayed at GRAN PANORAMA from Sep 26 through to Nov 16. The views out over the valley are stunning, and ever changing with the light throughout the day. We have travelled extensively and can say we have never found a better patio to sip wine, read a book or just chill and enjoy the vistas. The drive up and down the mountain was a bit intimidating at first but soon became an enjoyable experience. The owners (Stefano and Anna) thought of everything to ensure the Villa was fully equipped, and checked in with us often to see if we needed anything. The property is ideally situated for “day tripping” to the hilltop towns in Umbria. The seven glorious weeks we spent at GRAN PANORAMA flew by and we are now planning our return for next year. Thank you Anna and Stefano for making our stay so memorable!

This property is idyllic; it is just outside the ancient town walls and set in a sloping olive grove. The views all around are stunning. Unfortunately, we were sick when we visited and unable to see much of the surrounding area, but the place was very comfortable and the owner is lovely.

A gorgeous home all you have to do is arrive and your adventure can begin. It is centrally located and worked awesome to see everything this region had to offer. From the pool to the fresh fruit on the property this is definitely a wonderful place to stay!
