We’ve always wanted to experience the Italian way of life and spending a month in Todi was the ideal vacation. Away from the crowds, beautiful countryside, friendly people and comfortable living. This house gave us all that…it is an older house but we adjusted very quickly to the ebbs and flows of it. It had everything we needed and was very well maintained.Past reviews mentioned the hill to town, this is not to be underestimated, it’s a hike but you do get used to it and the bonus is you’ll be in great shape.George and his wife were very easy to get along with and very helpful. All in all it was an exceptional experience and recommend it highly.

Umbrian Perfection

The place was exactly as described in the listing and perfect for our family of 4. The house was perfectly located just outside the walls of Todi. We stayed here for a month and it was a great base to explore the many beautiful towns in Umbria. We also day tripped into Florence and Rome. When we weren’t touring around we enjoyed a lovely walk into Todi and afternoons by the beautiful pool. Adele was so helpful and made our stay super comfortable. We recommend a car to explore the surrounding towns and getting to the big grocery store at the bottom of the hill but not necessary for exploring Todi. Can’t wait to come back one day.

Spectacular!!!!

We were blown away by both the house and the views! We felt like we were in a movie! The views are so gorgeous - they feel too good to be real! Although the pictures are great they can't begin to do justice to this amazing place - the house itself is much larger than it looks - the rooms are large and airy with lovely and comfortable furniture. We also really loved all the beautiful art on the walls throughout the house. The kitchen is huge with a very large island where we gathered to cook our meals every evening after spending the day out exploring the towns nearby or relaxing by the pool. We used the wood fired outdoor pizza oven twice during the week and made some delicious pizza! Everything you could possibly need is there for you - they even provided a highchair and crib for our little grand daughter. The caretakers, Sylvia and Viktor were lovely and checking in and out was quick and easy. I can not say enough about this place - we loved every minute and really hated to leave. Thank you Henry!

We were a family of 21, grandparents, parents and kids. We had a dream vacation. The property was beyond our expectations, beautifully furnished and so well equipped. Frederico, our host was amazing. Communicated with us from the beginning, and we knew we would be well looked after. Would highly recommend. A memorable week in a beautiful setting. We did not want to leave!

Casa del Pero in the Umbrian countryside

This property is idyllic; it is just outside the ancient town walls and set in a sloping olive grove. The views all around are stunning. Unfortunately, we were sick when we visited and unable to see much of the surrounding area, but the place was very comfortable and the owner is lovely.
