Vacation rentals near Polytechnic University of Bacalar

This new condo complex is in a great location...only 5 min to the Ecopark and 15 min to downtown. The unit is beautifully decorated and has good quality furnishings and a well stocked kitchen. The rooftop is a nice place for coffee or a cocktail. Jacqui is the property manager and she is absolutely amazing. The unit is located facing a busy road and can be quite noisy. However, we highly recommend a stay here.

This was a beautiful place. Marissa was wonderful. She help us before we came. She was there everyday to make sure we were good. I can't say enough it was one of our best stays to date. Loved it and would definitely recommend this to anyone heading to Bacalar.

What a beacutiful home. From the very first momeny we opened the door - just wow. The house is large, very clean, had everything we needed and very well located (about a 12-15 minute walk to the water and to the main square). We felt super safe during our stay.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay in Bacalar! Jacqui was very responsive to all our questions, and the condo was in a great location, with only a 10-15 minute walk into the center of town!

We spent one week in this beautiful spot. Our group varied on age from 9 to 85 and everyone had fun. Staff (Bartolo and Rocio) we’re very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect if you want to avoid crowds and enjoy nature (You will need a car if you plan on visiting the town). The house is right in the jungle so we were able to see monkeys hanging from the trees and lots of different birds. All the bedrooms had a beautiful view of the jungle or the lake. The house had everything we needed to have fun and stay safe in the water like life jackets, kayaks and paddle boards. The lake has warm clear water that makes it easy to spend the day.

This is a beautiful property and immediately upon entering you can see the effort the host has put in to make this a special place to stay. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about the property itself however…the neighborhood is full of barking dogs and because of the thatched roof it got so bad we both slept downstairs on the double couch. And one last warning if you are staying over on a Saturday, there was a live band playing a few blocks from the house which didn’t stop until 3am! I don’t understand how the local people put up with it unless they were all there! So bring eye plugs and enjoy this unique home.
