Vacation rentals near St James Anglican Church

We stayed at this lovely home during Cyclone Tam. If you have to be storm stayed, this is the place to do it. Lovely, clean, well appointed, and spacious with incredible views. Host was so kind and even brought us a portable stove during power outage. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic apartment with 3 good sized bedrooms and unparalleled views of the bay. Great location within 10 minutes of town and right next to The Flagstaff hike starting point. We parked our car for 4 days and did not need to use it once! Well stocked kitchen and BBQ. Would highly recommend .

We were so very pleased with our week long stay. The location just minutes to Russell was perfect for our vacation plans. The view and sunsets were stunning and especially wonderful from the large deck accompanied by bird song. The house (aka Bach) had all of the required amenities and was spotless. Thanks again for the memorable stay!

We enjoyed the beautiful view of the bay & being close enough to walk to the main beach & restaurants. Definitely would stay again.

This accommodation speaks cleanliness and space! It is well located to easily access the amenities of Russell. The restaurant/pub below is non-intrusive. The patio doors and balcony enable fresh air and entertainment while watching the activities taking place below it. The ratu tree directly outside the patio doors limits the view across the bay but at the same time adds beauty to this artistically inspired space.

I wish I could give six stars- The place was exactly as described and very clean and tidy and beautifully situated on the shore. What I did not expect was the exceptionally warm welcome and kindness of the Starr family. Not to mention Shakey the dog! Do not hesitate to book this place.

While a long drive from Auckland, this property's isolation is part of its charm. The view is breathtaking, the constant wave action relaxing, and the decor straight out of NZ House & Garden magazine.
