We love the villas de Cortez and this studio it excellent! Comfy bed. Lots of books, cards etc. for entertainment and the most well stocked kitchen we’ve found so far. Being on the ground floor with a lock box on sliding door is so convenient! Walk out the door of the unit to the pool, beach or other resort amenities. Communication with owner was a breeze and he has put a lot of effort and humour into the guest information package. Everything was as described and we really enjoyed our week in Los Barriles. We will hopefully be back soon!

This place exceeded all my hopes - beautifully set up with wonderful gardens, pool, hot tub and direct access to the beach. There was everything we needed and more - washer dryer, two bathrooms for fussy teens, ac, a perfect kitchen and extremely comfy beds. Gina and crew made us feel so welcome, and we loved Los Barriles itself. This was a terrific introduction to a part of Mexico we’ve not been in before, but will definitely return to!

Our group of 4 families had the most wonderful stay at Casa de Las Palmas. Mary was an incredible host - from the planning to supporting all our needs while we were in Los Barilles - we had an incredible dinner prepared by wonderful team of chefs the day we arrived. We did so many activities - ATV trip, fishing, and snorkelling tour in Cabo Pulmo. The house layout, location on the beach and proximity to town were just perfect. Our group of kids, teenagers and adults had a blast. Loved swimming in the water in front of the house and the pool and hot tub! Jim’s cottage was exactly as advertised and then some. There are so many extras that elevated our stay; from little things like coffee and creamer to shampoo and conditioner to having everything clearly explained and even labelled to eliminate any possible confusion. Jim and his wonderful fur baby Jackson are excellent hosts with answers and recommendations any time we asked. He also supplied us with beach gear and went out of his way to make us feel more than welcomed to Los Barriles. All this said, we did not feel uncomfortable at any time having the host on site. There was another couple in residence in the other cottage and we never felt like our privacy was being invaded. I would return again in a heartbeat.

Stayed here for 4 nights early March. Los Barriles was a great antidote to the hustle and bustle of Cabo. The place was beautiful as described, in a nice neighbourhood. Bikes were available to get to Tres Palapas Pickleball resort in a few minutes. We enjoyed access to paddle boards and Kayaks. communication and our check-in was seamless. Recommend a visit to Cabo Pulmo where we were fortunate to see a pair of blue whales up close. The town has a relaxed vibe and we took advantage of lazy daze beach bar more than once. Ideally, we would like the option to heat the pool as it was too cold for us, but a minor point to an otherwise incredible stay. We hope to be back!

Our stay at the Red House was fabulous. The property comes exactly as advertised. A beautiful house with private pool & hot tub, artfully decorated, located on a private beach. Could not ask for more. Rosa and Jesus were excellent hosts, and very promptly answered any questions that we had before arriving, and during our stay. The local food in the town of Los Barriles and Cardonal was amazing. A very authentic Mexican experience. I highly recommend renting one of the ATVs that are offered with the house, as the road conditions leading into the property a pretty rugged and slow with a standard car. This is 5-star rental property. You will not be disappointed for sure.
