Vacation rentals near Pico do Ariero

What an absolute fantastic apartment, excellent location, very very clean, responsive Owner answered all our questions quickly. The view from the balcony was amazing! Easily accessible to many restaurants. The promenade, where you can walk along the beach, is just in your backyard. We loved our stay there and would definitely recommend.

We had the most fantastic stay at Villa Brava Atlantico! The house was equipped with everything you could imagine—and then some. We were glad we didn't pack our hiking poles, the house came with 2 sets!! It was clean and spacious, with amazing hills and ocean views. We made good use of the garden by making fresh salads for our meals and loved having fresh eggs from our resident hens. The host welcomed us with a beautiful assortment of snacks - just what we needed after a long day. The drive into the property can be challenging with a narrow street, but we got accustomed to it as the days passed. There is a little restaurant and grocery store within walking distance and Danny's bar. There are also plenty of options in the town below. Lurdes was a fabulous host and answered our questions promptly. It was the most beautiful house and location we have every stayed at. Bravo!!

Rita was the perfect host. She went above and beyond what one would expect from the host. She picked us up from the airport late evening because our car rental shuttle did not show up and arranged for us to get a rental car from another company. We were greeted with a beautiful welcome basket and all the necessary supplies for a full breakfast the next morning. She recommended places for us to see. The grounds around the house are beautiful with fruit trees and we were able to get fresh eggs from the chickens on the property. Conveniently located…quiet and great spot for those wanting to be outside of the big city. The place was exactly as pictured, clean and not lacking of anything. The owners were wonderful and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and really appreciated the outstanding view.

This villa was a wonderful choice for 5 friends to spend time in Madeira and to get away from the snow in Canada. The weather in February was a little disappointing but the villa had all amenities to keep us happy. The pool was too cold for us old ones while we were there but would be lovely in warmer, drier weather. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking but we did very little catering for ourselves as we ate out in the restaurants around Madeira. There was plenty of space to spread out and socialize in the common areas. Udo kept in touch with us on WhatsApp before the trip answering our questions and was at the villa to meet us when we arrived and made us all feel very welcome. There was fresh fruit and drinks as a welcome basket. Udo even gave us a trip around Caniço to show us the shopping areas and restaurants. Garajau is a short 12 mins ride to Funchal on a fast road. We often used a taxi. With our rental car we explored the whole beautiful island. It is an easy 5 min drive to the motorway from the villa where you can travel all around Madeira island. The villa is beautiful, gardens neat and colourful. And the view over the Ocean is unbelievable. We had a wonderful time and hope to return in the future to experience more of Madeira and its hospitality. Thanks Udo for making your villa available to us.
