Beautiful little town and Luisa was a wonderful host.

This home is an absolute gem, conveniently located and filled with charm in a rich, historic corner within the walls of Evora.Once you've adjusted to driving the narrow streets, check-in is a breeze with the instructions provided by Pedro. The home is well equipped and clean, with comfortable beds and other amenities. We spent lots of time up on the rooftop terrace admiring the swallows and even got to watch a beautfil sunrise on our last morning.Pedro is quick to respond to any questions, and was even able to accommodate a late check out for us so we could soak up more of this lovely town.One of our favourite places we've explored on our trip- we highly recommend The Bright House.

An amazing property in a great location. We’ve never stayed in any place like it before. Almost like a mini castle or palace. To see it referenced in the Evora guide book as a notable and historical structure was a bonus. Several great, private outdoor seating areas so you can follow the sun around throughout the day.

Luis and Antonia were exceptionally gracious hosts. Their house was accurately described and was absolutely lovely. I would highly recommend as a place to stay in Evora.

When we booked, I wasn’t sure what I’d find, though I was up for the adventure of Agro Tourism. The location is great as a safe base from which to explore Evora and the surrounding area. And there is so much to see and explore - too much to go into here! The accommodations were modern and first rate, which is all the more impressive when you consider these rooms were renovated from farm buildings! The property even has exotic animals - along with chickens, sheep, cows and dogs, we saw llama and two emus! Everything was lovely and they still managed to surprise us with the “breakfast basket” - very unique! Well worth the price!

Can’t think of any way to improve upon it. Wonderful hosts, well equipped, great location, immaculate. Would love to return. Hosts go out of their way to make your stay memorable

The city of Evora is stunning, and our stay was enhanced greatly by this great property. My wife and I stayed here for two nights. The property was spotless, and well appointed. The host, Luisa, was lovely and provided us with great advice on things to do during our stay. Highly recommend this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Cabaca house, QSF! From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Eduardo we felt welcome and comfortable. A tour of the grounds to meet his animal and bird friends was very memorable. What a menagerie of pets they have! We later spent some time getting to know the goats lambs and ostriches while relaxing by the pool. Our accommodations were very well designed with modern materials and furnishings , bright clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed which allowed us to cook our own meals instead of going to a restaurant . Grocery store is with a 5 minute drive! The delivery of a breakfast basket each morning was a welcomed treat- fresh eggs, bread, cheese fruit , juice, milk and condiments. Day 1 We lounged by the pool soaking up the sun then spent the afternoon and evening exploring the old town Evora. (Tip for future travellers- it’s best to get reservations at popular restaurants) Day 2-We visited Monsaraz - a beautiful hill town and had an amazing lunch at Taverna Os Templarios while enjoying the view. All in all, a wonderful experience with one minor comment- there was only one wine glass in our kitchen🍷… but we survived! Would definitely recommend a stay here .
