Vacation rentals near Pedro and Inês Footbridge

We really enjoyed the cottage. It had wonderful views, great places to sit outside, relax and enjoy being in the countryside. The property owner was great and even took us to a local winery. It only took about 20 minutes to drive into Coimbra so we had the best of city and country. There also was a great local restaurant for local style food. I would definitely stay there again.

Would highly recommend this place! Eduardo and family were amazing hosts. From ensuring you feel at home, to guiding you on your journey in Coimbra and having fresh bread for breakfast! My family and I were very happy and would definitely come back again in the future.

The apartment is a great example of how good design can make a small confined space perfectly livable. It is not large, and headroom is constrained, but providing one remembers to duck, the place offers great character and should meet every traveler's needs. The apartment is very clean and well-organized, the king size bed is very comfortable, and the small but functional kitchen was generously stocked upon arrival with provisions (including 4 fresh eggs!) to prepare one's own breakfast, An added bonus was the fresh bread delivered to the door every morning by the congenial Eduardo, a host who was wonderfully welcoming and whom we would have liked to spend more time with had our stay not been so brief (though we would stay here again should we return to Coimbra). In terms of exploring the historic centre of town, the apartment is perfectly located within short walking distance of all the important sights, and a good restaurant is right around the corner. Every aspect of the rental was positive, thank you very much, Eduardo!

Overall spacious place for 4 people; nice size rooms. No elevator and located 3rd floor. Not a problem for us however could be challenging for people with mobility issue as there is no elevator. Nice bar on the ground floor with local artists and music and bar closed by midnight on the Sunday night we were there. Location is very central.

This was a great property to stay in. Beautiful welcome basket, which was so appreciated after being drenched in the rain from the hosts. The unit was lovely and clean and right in a busy area with easy access to everything. The only concern I would mention is that the railing up the stairs was a bit shaky and might be a concern for those who have heavy suitcases or mobility problems . We had heavy bags but were able to get up and down the stairs! The restaurant next-door, Oak, was fantastic!

Awesome place to stay. What a great little apartment. It was so clean and comfortable and had everything to make one’s stay so pleasurable. The location was fantastic which made it so easy to walk around, find a place to eat, see the sights, enjoy a nice drink, or just be among the vibrancy of the community. The communication with the host was very good. A great great choice to stay!!!

Our hosts gave us great information and we were thrilled to find some basic groceries when we arrived, and fresh bead hanging on our door every morning. There was also an excellent restaurant next door - "Papa's".
