Vacation rentals near Incheon Bridge

The staff was so wonderful and their service was amazing. It is a gem of a hotel with beautiful luxurious rooms and excellent food. The only problem was a week prior or to arrival when their Reservations Manager refused to credit me back with one days lodging since the airline changed their flights. As a result I didn’t want to lose the reservation and agreed to pay the night I couldn’t show - but then the hotel threatened to cancel or charge me higher. I had booked for 9 nights and prepaid. I had hotels.com contCt and back and forth it went. The hotel kept referring to Expedia since that must be the hotels.com reservation arm. Then my local office there who speaks fluent Korean tried - and to my shock the reservations manager told her to tell me that If I cancelled the hotel reservation with Expedia (hotels.com) that the hotel would have me pay them. I used to be in the travel business and wondered - is this approach just to save paying hotels.com 15% commission and an attempt to extract from me? Finally after days of upsetting agony - they agreed that I should forfeit the one night. I was fine with that but you should internally review their approach! Ask since I was told by hotels.com that as a good member I receive a 10% food and beverage discount - even in writing confirming that for each day - the hotel stated it was just once per visit and refused to deduct more. So we are elsewhere. You may not publish this but my confidence in hotels.com has been huet.
