Please just book your stay here! Katja is a wonderful host who is very responsive and helpful! She even recommended hikes for our family of five (2 adults & 3 teens). The most surprisingly part was her kindness in providing a bottle of wine and chocolates. The scenery from this apartment is breathtakingly beautiful. The area is quiet and and it was so hard to leave! Thank you so much for our relaxing stay. If we ever return to Switzerland, we will definitely be reaching out to Katja again! This is definitely beyond a 5 star! Now go, book this place as you won’t regret it 😃

Wonderful location, we rented a car and stayed for 2 nights, it was easy to drive to Interlaken and Thun. The mountain view is gorgeous and the chalet has everything you need except washer/dryer. There are rules including quiet hours/no showers after 10pm which we did not know beforehand, which would have been appreciated. Otherwise a great stay.

We stayed for 5 nights. Can’t get a better value in the area. Andrea had everything clean and organized. She answered our questions immediately. Only 20 minutes down the mountain so it is very central. Best was the view. All amenities of hotel included, couple very good restaurants to eat at. Our experience was perfect. Thank you Andrea!!

We hardly know where to start when it comes to summing up how much we enjoyed and appreciated our stay at Im Bergli. Having looked forward to a stay there for a long time, we were finally able to to travel again when covid restrictions eased and travel to Europe from Canada was once again possible. As with all vacation rentals, we kept our fingers crossed that we would not be disappointed on arrival. We weren't. Everything was exactly as portrayed in the photos and description. Our pleasure was enhanced by the immaculate presentation of the apartment and the intense attention to detail. Frank and Elisabeth went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed - and more. We stayed for six days and felt, when we left, that we were leaving new friends, rather than just 'hosts'. The warmth of their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable and although they never intruded, we were always happy to see them and enjoy conversations. The apartment itself is well laid out and thoughtfully equipped. It lacks for nothing. The shower in particular is worthy of note - the size and the water pressure make it a delight. We could go on more about things, but you probably already get the general impression that this place cannot be improved upon. A final note with regard to the location - peaceful and tranquil. Church clock gently chiming the hours and the feel of a small community of residents, not visitors. The view is amazing. Thun is a short drive away and offers all the facilities of a reasonable size town, with a lot of charming antiquity thrown in. Further destinations around the Berner Oberland are all easily doable. We have no hesitation strongly recommending Im Bergli. We shall ourselves be returning, without doubt. Thank you, Elisabeth and Frank, for giving us a wonderful stay.
