This apartment feels like the best spot in Lauterbrunnen because it is tucked away towards the end of the village, with views of the mountains and Staubbach Falls. The actual main village area seems crowded and busy with people and cars packing the streets, but this apartment feels like a secluded spot with the best views. The apartment itself is very comfortable and feels like a home away from home. We cooked a home for most meals, and we had everything we needed to do so. Lauterbrunnen was also a good spot to access the trains and lifts to the mountains around. It rained on one day of our stay, but this only made more beautiful waterfalls in the valley, and made Trummelbach Falls more powerful. We loved our stay here, hiking the mountains, and taking in the breathtaking views. Enjoy your stay!!

The apartment of Anne-Aymone is stunning! When we arrived, it is already ready for us even if we are a bit early than the check in time. The unit is well cleaned and has all the needed utensils and pots to cook and enjoy a meal in the house. That's a huge thing for us as we had been travelling the whole day. Next thing we want to do is just to sit back, relax, and enjoy the spectacular view of the village from the backyard. Because of this our stay in Lauterbrunnen was superb and will recommend this apartment to anyone we know who will be travelling to Switzerland. Anne-Aymore, was also so accommodating to all our needs and ensuring that our stay will be pleasant and won’t be bothered by the on-going heat wave during that time. All I can say is that we had a wonderful vacation in this property! And I will definitely booked this property in a heartbeat next time we have our vacation in Switzerland!

We hardly know where to start when it comes to summing up how much we enjoyed and appreciated our stay at Im Bergli. Having looked forward to a stay there for a long time, we were finally able to to travel again when covid restrictions eased and travel to Europe from Canada was once again possible. As with all vacation rentals, we kept our fingers crossed that we would not be disappointed on arrival. We weren't. Everything was exactly as portrayed in the photos and description. Our pleasure was enhanced by the immaculate presentation of the apartment and the intense attention to detail. Frank and Elisabeth went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed - and more. We stayed for six days and felt, when we left, that we were leaving new friends, rather than just 'hosts'. The warmth of their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable and although they never intruded, we were always happy to see them and enjoy conversations. The apartment itself is well laid out and thoughtfully equipped. It lacks for nothing. The shower in particular is worthy of note - the size and the water pressure make it a delight. We could go on more about things, but you probably already get the general impression that this place cannot be improved upon. A final note with regard to the location - peaceful and tranquil. Church clock gently chiming the hours and the feel of a small community of residents, not visitors. The view is amazing. Thun is a short drive away and offers all the facilities of a reasonable size town, with a lot of charming antiquity thrown in. Further destinations around the Berner Oberland are all easily doable. We have no hesitation strongly recommending Im Bergli. We shall ourselves be returning, without doubt. Thank you, Elisabeth and Frank, for giving us a wonderful stay.
