Vacation rentals near Somerset Beach

The house has a great atmosphere as a vintage houseboat with the wood finish and decks off every room. The weather was poor during our stay so our ocean activity was limited, but swimming in the tidal creek was always fine. Gabrielle is a great host, responding to our requests quickly, with extensive local knowledge and contacts. She and Peter even found and gave us extra diving gear we had left at home.

An absolute gem that could easily be twice the price. The team were fabulous and made us feel like family. The style of stay is of having the exclusive use of a small, immaculately maintained resort. There were always staff on hand to assist. The owner, Mike, is the de facto mayor of Andros island, and knows and is known by everyone we met there. Michette and Zemi provide cooking and cleaning, but are also extremely well connected on the island and were able to make wonderful referrals, and are creative, fun, and funny. In this trip we are visiting 5 islands and staying in 6 villas, and this was easily the highest quality and most fun experience. My 6-year-old daughter keeps asking when Zemi’s birthday is so she can send her a card. I hesitate to write this because the property already does most of its business with repeat customers - I hate to make it less available to us in future!

We loved our stay and the property manager Chantelle was excellent. Everything worked and was well kept up to date. The area had access to the beach, a restaurant and a store. The best thing about Andros is the people! We felt safe and supported in all areas. While not the most fancy of places it had an updated bathroom, a nice size living room and kitchen with comfortable size bedrooms and the only thing that would have made it nicer was comfortable outside chairs and no wall construction! This place for the cost is a winner!

I did not stay 10 mns in the room and left. The host did not do anything to refund, even partly any amount paid in advance. I also rented a car from them and did not receive any refund, same as for the room. Very cold people, I do not recommend this place.
