Vacation rentals near Tanglewood Wild Garden

We had a wonderful time here! It was so nice to return from day trips to a quiet comfortable Cornish Cottage. Our hosts, Mark and Margaret, have put their hearts into every aspect of the property and could not have been more welcoming. I would not hesitate to return here or give it our fullest recommendation.

We were two couples sharing the flat. The layout is perfect, with both bedrooms being ensuite. The flat is exactly as described/depicted in the photos. It is a bit of a walk to the parking at the St Ives football club, but nice having a reserved spot. We were able to ‘double park’ to both unload and load upon departure. The set of stairs in the flat is narrow and steep (like most in the UK) so I recommend packing light!!! We LOVED the view and close proximity to St Ives. Would not hesitate stay here again.

We had an amazing stay here during our trip to Penzance. The place is top notch, we felt very pampered with the quality of the furnishings, appliances, and all the extra bits you would need while travelling. The location is perfect, just far enough to be quiet but still right in the middle of Penzance. Hosts are super communicative and everything is set up for a great stay. We rented ebikes just down the road at the local Penzance bike hire, and grabbed some groceries from the coop and Lidle just a short stroll away. Train station is about 10 minutes walk away. The coin laundromat is just up the road and is a super clean facility.

This property was exactly as advertised. Charming & clean with all day-to-day house requirements available as well as outdoor tables & seating. The gardens were kept beautifully and the view of St. Ives Bay was nothing short of spectacular. Nestled away from a nearby road there was complete peace & quiet - the perfect way to wind down and relax. The owner was very friendly & helpful and available if we needed anything. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone seeking a rejuvenating & peaceful break from their busy lives. I hope to return there one day myself! We were 100% satisfied with the property and sad to leave.

Clean and tidy. Very comfy bed. Cute, fully fenced garden suitable for exercising pet. Good for short stays. Recommended to have your own car as parking is available and taxis are scarce. Hosts were very kind and friendly and welcoming to my little dog, providing toys and treats, which I really appreciated.
