Vacation rentals near St. James's Square

A perfect location. As they say a quiet oasis that is very close to Gloucester Road tube stop, a Waitrose and many dining options. It is within easy walking distance of The Natural History Museum and The V&A Museum.The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Communication with them was very good. No complaints. Would stay here again.

Stayed 5 nights at this flat with my 2 teenagers. The view from pretty much every room is amazing and calming. Easy communication with property owners before and during stay. ImRooms are a nice size and one with a en suite bathroom. Also washer and dryer very helpful for families. Kitchen is fairly well equipped and has all appliances needed. Area is quiet and still close to everything. Owners have a clear and helpful property document that provides instructions for pretty much everything about the property, including groceries and restaurants. Personally, we lived Bermondsey street about 15 min walk for great food and a fun vibe. Walk by the river through a little bridge to cut walking time half to Drawbridge. I walked to the north side of bridge in 25 min. About 7 min walk to Bermondsey tube station for easy access to everywhere. About 20 min to Borough Market or London Bridge station. A really lovely stay! The only comment I would have is that the pictures are accurate for every room except for the size of the living room and kitchen which seem bigger in pictures, but still a decent size !

An amazingly cosy space in a great neighbourhood! Alison made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our London holiday and was helpful and welcoming. And the details - the beautiful wooden bed, the fireplace, the books! The only (and small) downside was the toilet flush which seemed a bit reluctant from time to time.

Amazing apartment, super clean and well appointed, we needed for nothing. Great pubs and restaurants nearby, and an extremely helpful concierge. Would recommend to anyone, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. The host was very friendly and responded quickly to any questions.

This was a great place to stay during our trip. The top floor was very hot but we didn't see there was a hidden AC unit until we were packing up. AC in the bedrooms worked great. Short walk to the tube and groceries. Only comment would be that the stairs are steep and it's split between 3 levels so i would not recommend this personally for toddlers, elderly or people who can't carry bags and groceries up. Our 6 year old was careful and was ok.

We were a family of 10! Two grandparents, four parents and four teenagers. Jubed’s place worked out perfect for us. We were easily able to get there by connection from train arrival at Kings Cross and depart using the tube to Heathrow on the Piccadilly line. Each time we walked to and from the tube station with our bags in less than 10 minutes. Jubed was a delight to work with and very helpful throughout. We kept very busy in London using our London pass. Also one of the men working at the tube station was very helpful and advised the best way to use the tube is pay with Apple. We had bought daily passes, but he said Apple is cheaper. It would take about 25 minutes by tube to get to the Thames, but sometimes we liked to take the bus and enjoy the view, that took about 50 minutes. We were able to enjoy breakfast and pack lunches. We generally ate out for dinner. One time we ate at a local Brazilian restaurant. There were four of us and the servings were so big we could have probably fed the 10 of us. This is a charming mews home, in a very central location. Very well fitted out, with everything you could ask for. Easy access to the tube, located near many conveniences and yet quiet. Extremely responsive and helpful host. Would recommend without hesitation, and would love to return!

For our two-week stay in the London area, we needed a comfortable, welcoming place to serve as a home base. And we certainly found it in this lovely East Sheen studio! We did not rent a car, so we did a lot of walking — 12 minutes to the nearest bus stop, 20 minutes to the nearest train station, and about 35 minutes into the center of nearby Richmond. We were very close to Richmond Park, and about a 40 minute walk to Kew Gardens. We very much appreciated the comforts of the apartment after a long day of sightseeing and walking. Part of our plan was to have two meals in the aparment, and lunch out. The well-designed kitchen made it easy to do this. But if we didn’t feel like cooking, there were two pubs within a few minutes walk. And at the end of the day, the very comfortable bed gave us a good night’s sleep. Our host, Peter, was very accommodating and supportive while at the same time respecting our privacy. It was great to have our own entrance to the apartment. The neighborhood felt very safe, even when walking home after dark. We loved our stay in the London area, and this was a great place to base ourselves!
