Quarry Hill Church exceeded our expectations!!! The renovations are true to the methods and materials of the 19th century while integrating modern amenities which make this a comfortable home. The layout of the house was perfect for our family and is accessible for those who have difficulty walking. Marty was a perfect host- welcoming yet not intrusive. Small touches like a very generous and tasty welcome hamper, comfy beds and large towels make this venue perfect. We drank a lot of tea and wine, had long conversations around the big table. Many were surprised to sleep in in the morning!!! The house is well situated in Strangford, we enjoyed a few meals in the village, took the ferry to see the aquarium and enjoyed walks and drives in the countryside. We generated many new memories during our 10 day stay.
